  • Hi lovely people! Here is my first crochet garment video. In this tutorial, you're going to learn how to make this cute crochet top in three styles - strapless, with thin and with thick straps. I wasn't able to choose one style so I made three 🤷🏻‍♀️
    The pattern is free to use and you can find it down below.

    This is a perfect tutorial! Extremely beginner friendly with how you explain each stitch and even use the neon needle to show the difference between the regular stitch back loop only, and the fact that there's no music in between was very nice haha thank you! I'll be using this for my first tank top

    Thanks a lot for this tutorial! This is a first project I'm making as a beginner - however, I have a question. When you do R1 for the bodice, do you sc in every stitch including the turning ch2 you did for the ribbing?

    • @AmigurumiForge
      @AmigurumiForge  8 месяцев назад

      Thank you for the question. Since you don't have actual stitches when working on the long side of the ribbing you should use the stitch markers as explained on 6:06. It's not that important where you place the sc but it's important to place inc stitch on the stitch markers. If that's too confusing and you want a straight answer - skip the ch2 that's used for the ribbing and work in the other stitches.

    What if i finished the ribbon and the bodice and than realised i've made it too small, can i still expand it?

    • @AmigurumiForge
      @AmigurumiForge  Год назад +2

      If you haven't stitched the back yet, you can crochet a couple of rows where you're supposed to sew the back. This way the bodice will become wider. I hope this is what you're looking for.

    How much chain does a four year old child need?
    Please reply

    • @AmigurumiForge
      @AmigurumiForge  8 месяцев назад

      Thank you for your question. You can check 5:46 for instructions on the ribbing. Basically my waist is 67cm and the waistband is 66cm. Measure the waist of the 4 year old and make the band the same or smaller that the waist measurement.
