    Even if you don’t do reviews like some others do, whatching you is really enjoying, you are so professional and meticulous, your garage is awesome, the music, the ambiance, the work your collegue and you are doing on cars, the videos themself are professional made....in two words, I’m jalous of not working in White Detail !!!! Congrats and please continue making that good work !

    the shot @ 9.44 says it all for me , shody " valeting " set up and a manky old brush left lying bristles down in the gravel !!! some low paid spotty summer recruit going to lift that and attempt to beautify a nice sports car with it ( that's auctions for you ) !!!!!
    love the vlogs jim and especially your consistent attention to detail as always , i understand the editing process is a pain in the arse and very time consuming but us viewers really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to share your passion with us .

    Freezing cold, rain, snow, ice, baking heat, direct sunlight... wouldn’t it be appropriate for you to have an indoor wash bay? Maybe a grid floor with drainage and the car lifter so you could do the wheels off wash indoors out of the elements without having to do the awkward looking side by side jack up and wheels off one side at a time wash etc?

    Great news - the vlogs are back! Whatever way you need to mix it up we are all right behind you - the content is class!
    After what was quite an average week this has been a massive highlight. Keep up the exceptional work with Tel and will be keeping an eye on my notifications for the next instalment.
    Best wishes from Australia (ps I work with your old school buddy Sooz here in Melbourne who is also a massive fan!)

    Jim, I have an idea. Approach one of your local colleges and canvass the students who study film and media, video publication studies etc., and ask them to take up the whole capture and/or editing deal as a kind of internship. They get to have hands on in the real world and also contribute to a body of work on display to the whole world. it would make a great basis for a C.V.
    Tea making skills a bonus.

    Ok, so a ceramic coating lasts a certain amount of time. I know if you want to remove it you have to do some serious machine work/sanding. But my question is after the life expectancy is the coating gone? Or say after 2 years life expectancy would you still need to “remove” the coating to re-apply other protection or coating?

    All vehicles that get the "White Detail" are perfection, but that Porsche looked especially sweet! I think if I could afford one high end car, it would definitely be a Porsche. For the money, it seems that it would be the best car you could either use as a daily driver or just a once in a while car. Porsche knows what they are doing when it comes to making the everyday man "Supercar"!

    • @joevanseeters2873
      @joevanseeters2873 5 лет назад

      I will say though, those "butterfly", "Scissor", "Dihedral" or whatever you want to call them doors on that BMW i8 are some of the coolest doors in the world on a car that starts at $147,000 US dollars. Most cars with those doors start a LOT LOT LOT higher than that! I went to the BMW factory tour in Munich. In the lobby, showroom area they had a special room which highlighted the i8 and the doors. This was before they had created the new convertible/spyder version of the I8. It was one of the coolest tours i've ever taken and seeing that i8 in person made me have dreams of that car for two weeks afterwards! I even saw a few owners picking up their i8 from the factory (top floor) and drive them down the special glass elevator, out of the showroom, onto the street and away with their brand new i8, and huge teethy smile on their face! But between the i8 or the newest 2020 Porsche Carrera just released for sale, (Retail prices here in the US are about the same after adding some accessories to the Porsche), i'd still have to go with the Porsche!

    While I am sure the extra editing is appreciated by many, I think if you just did a one-take shot of in the shop working on the car and just talked about the process a bit it would still get a lot of views and your subs would be happy to have more content. Having several 10 minute videos will also help you with the algorithm and your channel will grow faster. I am not telling you to do anything and I like the longer videos, just some suggestions to consider or not. Cheers!

    Hi Jim, I collected my new x5 from sycamore bmw at the end of December and when it arrived it had been washed very poorly and there were many scratches, however they said that they would not leave any of the protection on from the factory and that it had to be unwrapped to be presented to us. Now, after having some serious issues with my car I am getting a new replacement car within the next 12 weeks as we have just specced it up again. It is going to get a full new car detail and we are going to request that every bit of the factory wrapping and protection is left on the car after our very bad experience last time. Do you know if this is a common BMW policy to have to remove all of the protection and then wash it before it is handed over or are we able to tell them that we will not take the car if they unwrap and wash it? Thanks
