@@freshafro7098 NO mark talks in his interview about this mirror lines how hard it was too structure this line section. Befor the section starts there ist a shot wher you can see a - a - b- b it's at 9:43 in his part before the mirror line section starts

There is a reason for the 50-50 at the end... It's part of a symmetrical play within the 7 last lines and it's probably the reason why it's called "Verso". This part is a masterpiece and the guy is a genius!

Yeah the 50-50 was basically “I’m done” after putting out arguably the best creative street part of all time. I loved that he did that at the end
10 md I love all those guys you mentioned and they all have had cool creative parts but I think I just like sucius a bit better. I was very much around long before fully flared came out.
That 50-50 was equal to PJ Ladd pushing at the end of Wonderful Horrible Life. The idea of that line continuing is insane.

The 7 lines at the end are almost perfectly symmetrical in terms of backside/frontside 180s, backside/frontside to the ledge, flip/heel, and nollie/fakie:
Line 1 - 50-50, nollie fs heel fakie 5-0 bs 180 out
Line 2 - Nollie crook, nollie fs flip fakie nosegrind fs 180 out
Line 3 - Nosegrind fs 180 out, fakie bs flip nosegrind fs 180 out
Line 4 - Nollie fs 180 sw fs 5-0 fs 180 out, Nollie bs 180 fakie bs 5-0 fs 180 out
Line 5 - Fakie flip sw 5-0 sw back 180 out, nosegrind bs 180 out
Line 6 - Sw bs flip nosegrind bs 180 out, fakie crooks
Line 7 - Nollie bs heel sw 5-0 bs 180 out, 50-50
Look at the first and last trick, then the second and second last trick, then the third and third last trick etc. Line 4 is in the middle, and the two tricks are symmetrical to each other. Any of these lines on their own are pretty insane, but the fact that Mark planned these lines out to be virtually symmetrical and then actually did it seems pretty amazing to me.

The 50-50 ender was intended, he had a rhyme scheme kind of going throughout the whole part, ABBA
first trick was a 50-50, last trick was a 50-50
2nd and 2nd last tricks are inverses of each other, so on, so forth.

Nothing wrong with a 50/50, to me it represent that high contrast between a super advanced trick and a basic one, kinda like a nostalgic moment, remembering where you were at then, and where you are now.

Saw mark skate at the adidas nyc go skate day jam in 2019 and it was the most impressive skating I’ve ever seen in person. He gave me an autograph too. I was so hyped and star struck. He is a handsome guy too. He has it all going on. What a legend.

ELDi you gotta read the jenkem magazine article about the verso part, it explains the last section has 14 tricks that act as a big mirror part where the first and last trick are the same, the 2nd trick and 2nd to last trick are related, 3rd trick and 3rd to last are related, 4th trick and 4th to last are related, 5th trick and 5th to last are related, and the 6th trick and 6th to last are related, and the 7th trick and 8th trick are related.
Cole's analogy for the 50-50 ender was perfect haha, "you can't just land the airplane from 10,000 feet, right?"
His part was insane and ended with a 50-50 just made me love it more

Shout-out to love park baby! I'm from Wilmington, a city 20 miles south of Philadelphia, and we have a local DIY we built over the last 8 years, and when they demolished LOVE park not too long ago, our local skateshop owners were able to get two of the ledges that everyone used to skate, they ripped them out of ground at Love and brought them right to our DIY where they still get skated regularly. So if Chris or anyone still wants to come and shred a piece of skate history, the park is called 7th Street Skatepark (says 'Babiarz Park' on Google maps, but it's called 7th St) in Wilmington, DE - Plz nobody steal them, they mean a lot to us.
I grew up in Newark skating, I had stopped skating by the time that was built but i always would drive by wanting to skate it.
That could be homage to Busenitz line style who he said he loved
Yeah I skated with Sucio at the San Jose red park with my nephew and no one else then mark pulls up into the park and it was just the three of us skating the park. As I was trying my Bobby Puleo style skating lines at the park , Mark sucio steps it up on his tricks while my nephew stopped skating and just watched. I kept skating trying to flow through the park Ollieing like Reese Forbes and Keith Hufnagel pop‼️then out of the side of my sucio starts landing all his ledge tricks and pyramid flip tricks to quarter pipe trick and then handrail trick to end his session‼️it was like an honor to skate with a stranger knowing his precedence photos and having a tight quiet session with that guy

Mark planned almost everything. It's supposed to be mirrors and reflections of each trick. 50 and then nollie fs heel sw 5 rewind mirrors the ender. Also the front board 270 reflects the blubba 270 out

Suciu takes that one extra detail step of making sure his feet are setup perfectly for when he's gonna land. That way he can ride away with power and not just flop to the ground and barely roll.
