Out of the Dust Music OFFICIAL What got you through each day after you got divorced?
DeAudra Roddy I (Stephanie here) had a list of verses that were such a life raft for me- scripture is alive and so powerful, especially in the darkest of times! The verses that I clung to were all about finding joy in the midst of trials (just google that and you’ll find a wealth of verses 😊). I also found so much comfort in the Psalms; so many of them are prayers and crying out to the Lord but are then followed by the affirmation that God is good and faithful. Aside from that, seeking out genuine, authentic community was huge for me. My friends and family spoke so much life into my situation and we’re a constant source of comfort for me. That time in my life was the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through, but it was a precious time with the Lord that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
Out of the Dust Music OFFICIAL thank you so much stephanie your story gives me hope. Please keep making videos and telling your story because I know i wasn't brought to your page by coincidence. You guys have blessed me by becoming closer to the father and knowing that hope isn't lost. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU.
