Also from Okabe for trying to tell Mayuri not to think about it, look away from reality. Just ignore his pain and the future that awaits them since she was able to live. When i watched it, i couldn't stop. even though it hurt. he always wanted to go and visit akihabara and other places, so. i'm doing that for him. in his place, in the season he wanted to go, just mid/after typhoon season; september ish. 人生は時々不公平だ... This is one of the few songs that has ever gotten my to cry. It reminds me what’s at stake in my life. Mayuri reminds me a lot of someone I love and means everything to me. So kind, so pure. But every time I hear this song I remember my Orihime suffers too. So many things were placed on her back. She once told me that she just wanted to disappear, to avoid the problems she kept running into. I’ve been willing to help her where others ignore her, or tell her she’s an idiot. To me she is the brightest star in the sky, and if I see her cry, I’ll make sure they are tears of happiness.

This is so damn heartbreaking. When I watched the subbed version of Mayuri's "Puddle of Tearful Rain" monologue it hit so damn hard. There are so many emotions this draws out, and it show's just how much she loves Okabe. Mayurii was the star of Steins;Gate 0 in the end. If she didn't tell her past self to save him from his own despair they wouldn't have a future. And I rest my case.
In the last scene of Steins;Gate 0 after Okabe rescues Mayuri and Suzuha there is a shot of 2 bright stars in the sky. Vega and Altair, or Orihime and Hikoboshi.
Steins Gate 0 makes me think of Mayuri as more a likable character. I am kind of wishing in the OG series she had more of an impact other than being a mere plot device.
She was a great character in original Steins Gate. It's just that she was more of a primary focus in 0. But even in original, she was great and loveable and sweet and precious. It's just that in 0, seeing Okabe sad has brought back out her depression and sadness that Okabe made her forget about all those years ago.

This was an heartbreaking scene, i was so not prepared for it when i first watched Steins Gate 0. Mayuri is like this soft, attentionate and positive little thing and its hard to see her sad.

I love both series, yes it might have some errors in what respect to the travels but at least i couldnt notice a single one , and the fct that steins gate 0 focus in a line whih actually marks a point to the events that unwrap in the main series giving us a more deepth undertanding in all the hardships that he had to go through , adds so much more to the series overall. Please don't compare Shirley to Mayuri. Shirley's relationship with Lelouch was one of the most poorly written elements in a show that was already a complete Trainwreck.
I was actually blown away by how sad this anime turned out to be. When I saw the description, it said it's an alternate worldline where okabe is depressed that he failed to save kurisu and that he gave up. So I prepared myself for a little sadness here and there, but my word, this blew my expectations.

Pretty sure these uploads are just rips from some users on VK, low bitrate from what I can see. Or users on VK ripped these videos hence the low bitrate. Doesn't seem to be available anywhere else for now, not even able to purchase it any digitally. Regardless I'm holding out till a lossless source is available.

Although the original Steins;gate was one that could be enjoyed by all, Steins;gate 0 is for those looking for
a deeper, emotion heavy story of the psychology of a vast cast of characters.
