Catocala sponsa - Wstęgówka karmazynka - Eichenkarmin

Catocala sponsa - Dark Crimson Underwing is fairly common in the forests of oak. Its larva feeds on young leaves of oak in May. Moth appears in the first half of June. Eggs overwinter in the cracks of the bark folding oaks. The moth is very shy.

Catocala sponsa - Eichenkarmin ist in den Wäldern von Eiche ziemlich häufig. Seine Larve ernährt sich von jungen Blätter der Eiche im Mai. Moth erscheint in der ersten Junihälfte. Eier überwintern in den Ritzen der Rinde Klapp Eichen. Die Motte ist sehr schüchtern.

Catocala sponsa - Wstęgówka karmazynka ta jest dość pospolita w lasach dębowych. Jej larwa żeruje na młodych liściach dębu w maju. Ćma pojawia się w połowie czerwca. Zimują jaja składane w szparach kory dębów. Motyl jest niezwykle płochliwy.

Wow, I can't stress enough what beautiful footage of these creatures you have. I'm extremely impressed with the camera work and the camera footage. It's very impressive that you are able to get these kinds of shots especially the close ups of them. Also, I love how every one of your videos is a complete beginning to end type of video. You seriously should team up with BBC studios, PBS digital studios or national geographic or something and get paid pretty well to show/share these videos as nature documentaries because again, these is incredible.
