  • The Film shows development stages of European moth Endromis versicolora - Kentish Glory (GB), Birkenspinner (D), Strakáč březový (CZ). You will see how the female lays eggs, hatching larvas from eggs, various stages of caterpillars, molting, pupating etc. You can see an adult moth both male and female also mating. The butterfly has a wing span of 6-8 cm (female) and 5-6 cm (male). Larvae live on birch tree only.
Rozpiętość skrzydeł wynosi: 6-8 cm (samica) and 5-6 cm (samiec).
Dokument przedstawia owada żyjącego w Puszczy Dulowskiej k. Krzeszowic.

Thank you. The caterpillar is just as beautiful as the moth and you showed how it eats its own molted skin before it resumes feeding on the leaves.

That's crazy, I thought that the name of this moth was endometriosis. I don't know how I read that so wrong but yeah that was pretty funny.
