I wanted to get their autograph, but I was nervous so I chickened out. My parents had no idea who they were. ...Memories.. I miss the 90s some times.
My siblings and I tried to do a dance to this song in a talent show in elementary school. We practiced for about month in front of the teacher. She thought they were saying "I wanna set you up." (She was a white teacher). The day before the talent show, two other black teachers came to watch us practice and they freaked out when they heard the song come on! They stopped the song and explained to the first teacher what the words actually were. That white teacher was mortified! Needless to say, we were out of the talent show.
