Thanks for the informative and entertaining review. Have you had any experience with the bag on inclines/declines? Is the non-slip mat really all that helpful in those situations? I’m concerned with potential sliding despite tightening the straps.
I have one and I absolutely love mine… it’s pretty good if you’re traveling long distance if you secure the strap properly as I don’t have roof racks… I certainly wouldn’t leave it on the roof without supervision for very long as someone could just cut the straps and steal it but other than that it’s great for putting a ton of extra stuff in there since I have a pretty small car(mini clubman)… I drove through some pretty gnarly weather driving from Phoenix to Denver and I couldn’t be more pleased with the waterproof material… 10/10 recommend for the price

The #CARGO looks like it will actually accomplish what I expected when I purchased a “waterproof “ expandable roof cargo bag a few years ago. The unit I purchased seemed heavy duty enough, and looked waterproof, but on our first use taking it camping in Utah, we encountered heavy rain at altitude. We later discovered soaked sleeping bags and clothing in the expandable roof rack-which is now owned by a hopefully happy Goidwill customer who never leaves Nevada heading to a wet destination. So usually when we go on trips our individual suitcases are packed full and can be heavy. How do you lift them up to the cargo carrier on top of a van?
I just retired and am planning a trip to texas with my niece and her two kids. We bring a lot of girlie stuff so I’m looking for a rooftop bag to give us more leg room. This bag is everything I need and like. Thank you for this video. Being a widow I sometimes need the view point of a man🤔 for things I’m not familiar with. This bag is a winner!
It sure has. Matt just used it a couple weeks ago to go down to Mexico. Solid option for storage if you dont want to go with a hard case like a Thule or Yakima.

The matt does pretty well with slippage as well tightening down the straps.
