    Love Colombia! We recently did a 2 months bicycle tour around the north coast of Colombia. We visited a few of those beaches ands found a few others. We also loved the less visited areas away from the ocean. Great video!

      @AlejaOdyssey  4 года назад +1

      90s Girl hey 👋. What beach in particular would you like to visit? We didn’t always stayed in hotels. I didn’t really heard about sharks in those locations I mentioned in the video. All the beaches are safe in that sense. Probably, if you go scuba 🤿 diving you may see sharks 🦈.

    • @AlejaOdyssey
      @AlejaOdyssey  4 года назад +1

      90s Girl Cabo San Juan is also my Favorite. I have been there fee times. You’ll need to get to Santa Marta and from then take a bus to the entrance of Parque Tayrona $5 USD (Zaino) or take a boat directly to the beach for $20 USD. Then, there is an entrance fee to the park , maybe $30 USD. We slept in a rental tent ⛺️ for $15 USD a couple, but we brought our own sheet for the mattress. It is about $5 USD for a breakfast and $8-10 for lunch or dinner. There is one restaurant in Cabo San Juan. There are more tips about Cabo San Juan in my Tayrona Travel Guide.

    • @juantellez7521
      @juantellez7521 2 года назад

      long time ago, on 19 century and beginning of 20 century , the Caribbean shore coast of actual Nicaragua itself was part of Colombian republic, on those years the territories of actual Colombia were far, far more big, with more territorial extension , on amazon region, in actual lands of Peru, Ecuador and Brazil, Colombia had sovereignty then over those lands , until a war between Peru and Colombia erupted in 1932 , the war ended with a virtual 1-1 from both nations but on diplomatic talks Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador sponsored and helped Peru and all them took big territories from my country on Orinoco and amazon basins regions , Nicaragua who was born on the pacific coast and central lakes of that nation took the caribbean coast from my country after our rulers gave them like a gift those territories who were on colonial times even a sovereign native indigenous monarchy under protectorate of English empire and even Anglo-speaking, the Miskito coast, allies of British against Spanish settlers and colonizers, Colombia retains San Andres , saint Andrew and Providence, beautiful islands and sea, specially, Providence, Providencia islands archipelagos in exchange of that gift to the bastards brothers of Nicaragua, also the sea of those archipelagos who were and are also Anglo speaking and culturally non Spanish, but British imperial ex-former territories because before to be join and be part of newborn Colombia after his liberation war against Spanish crown in 1810-1824 of 19 century, those territories who joined Colombia were on colonial times populated and controlled by British slaver plantations ruled from Jamaica, unlike Mexico, Ecuador or Costa Rica where you will find big numbers of expatriates from Europe and USA, Canada living there a big part of the year , in Colombia , unless, until COVID 19 emergence on 2019-2020 you always find tourists, financial and business travellers and people coming from Asia, Europe, north America from trade, economic, work reasons, mostly, few groups of family European and north American tourists going on holidays , on summer or also on Christmas holidays , in December-January times , also to the principal cities of Colombia, Bogota, Medellin , the touristic beautiful colonial and republican cities on Caribbean shore of Cartagena De Indias or Cartagena from Western Indies and Santa Marta but the most important segment at those years of tourists coming to this country from abroad, from all places of world, even Muslim Arab countries, Asia, Australia, new Zealand, Russia, japan, western Europe, Mediterranean Europe, turkey, Israel, Iran, USA, Canada were the segment of youngsters , young travellers, singles, both male or female, travelling and making backpacking not only in Colombia but a south american or Latin America trip tours for cultural and experience journey and with low budget , millions coming here for experience the landscapes, different bio-mas, weathers, geographical and physical environments, nature, animals, forests, mountains, coasts, deserts, ice caps , savannas , plateaus, colonial cities, modern cities, towns, cultures and of course also strong experiences, even some dangerous because young come here searching not only the good things but also those bad and terrible things and experiences that they can not feel,l on their native homelands because they are forbade, bad things happen of course here because Colombia, yes, it s a beautiful and diverse, multicultural, ecological rich country with mostly good people but and it s a big but, it s also a country of third world, underdeveloped and with big , big unresolved issues coming from colonial and neocolonialist times , big issues of lack of freedoms, socio-economical injustices or inequalities, political corrupt and nepotist and oligarchic government state , lack of political, civil and social collective and individual rights, strong violence from far right organizations, groups, parties, and also ultraconservative reactionary owner elites who controlled and owned all important economical, cultural, political, military, religious big organizations, enterprises, assets, things on this country where, maybe, an important 60 per cent of total population live under line of extreme poverty, lack of sanitary, educational, recreation, housing , medical, entertaining things and with lowest, extreme bad paid jobs or under irregular working or bad paid work or even without work, paid, job, money, this is one of the big reasons why never you will find big numbers of expatriates, old people or families retired from countries of 1 industrial, capitalists, developed and free democratic nations here, it s very dangerous in terms of criminality, social and political unrest and big, big military, police and paramilitary repression, repression even illegal and criminal in terms of our Colombian constitution and laws and of course in international treaties and commitments but sponsored and backed by USA and western capitalists political and economical public and private powers, Colombia is not like Costa Rica or Mexico or Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay , Chile that are by much, very much more developed, industrialized, educated, civilian, liberal, civilized, modern and democratic, pluralistic and heterogeneous open societies with big issues also but also beautiful and diverse, rich countries, cultures, geographies, , but if you want know more in good terms about my country i recommend you to see the videos of an Australian young expat, entrepreneur and global trotter living here , an Australian guy named Sam Miller , SAM afar its videos or Sam Miller RUclips videos or also Zach Morris, an USA young citizen who is called the Gringo Colombiano, the Colombian Gringo, he has videos in English and in Spanish about this country and his experiences living or travelling here, also i recommend you the videos of the naturalist and sport explorer and traveller, the young Canadian Iohan Georguiev on his 5 years of biking and natural exploring the Americas from Alaska until Patagonia on cycle, foot, kayak, canopy if you want to know a little more about our lands, nations, cultures, landscapes and nature in Latin America, , YOU WILL FIND BEAUTIFUL THINGS ABOUT THIS CONTRADICTORY but also kind and rich and hopeful country and nation.....
