    This really helped me realize what I'm doing, as a person who has been doing motorsports and drifting on sim years before I could drive. I drove off natural instinct and tried to replicate Japanese grassroots drivers. Much of my tech is the same or similar but I never really know exactly how to explain my technique, I just drive. This video actually made me forget how to enter drift and relearn my technique. It was like when someone says to think about your breathing and then you can't stop thinking about it.

    • @TeamSabotage69
      @TeamSabotage69  3 года назад

      That's how it felt to make this video! It's the same for me with the way I learned to drive. I came from mostly sim background, so breaking down everything to put into a video was like trying to explain how walking works.

    as starting out with low hp cars doing big enteries was by far the weight transfer but using the clutch to keep the rear stuck for a split second more to hold angle and you described it best with just a quick stab to adjust the apex.

    Very nicely edited, owned and drifted my 14a/kouki for the same time as you've owned your s-chassis, I haven't spent as long practising backwards entries though and have always self taught my skills with many crashes along the way. I find 'time dipping the clutch' to get the back end past the front the hardest, can get fairly easily to 80/85 degrees but getting the last bit so the rear overtakes the front is definitely the hardest bit to master (IMO obviously). Look forward to the next one!

    • @TeamSabotage69
      @TeamSabotage69  4 года назад

      All comes down to tire and suspension setup, as well as throwing it a little harder than usual. It's definitely a fine balance between throttle input on initiation and how hard you throw your car.

    mannn I drive osw skid pad all the time & we have the same style wall entry the opposite way. I’ve been thinking about trying to make my entries harder by clutch kicking on the transition instead of the clutch kick -> transition with ebrake method. Thank you for the food for thought! I will be doing these entries this weekend.

    • @TeamSabotage69
      @TeamSabotage69  3 года назад +1

      Please do! I rarely see aggressive entries coming out of OSW footage. It's usually like you said, clutch kick then transition with ebrake, which looks slow and "lazy" in comparison.

    this made me see so much im doing wrong. It also confirmed how stupid most peoples tire set ups(including mine) are. I run stupid grippy tires up front and cheap chinese tires in the back... why? because i saw other guys doing that and never really questioned it. totally makes sense to me and cant wait to get a neutral grip set up. Where do you guys get kr20a's?

    • @TeamSabotage69

      Glad to hear! Unfortunately KR20As are pretty hard to come by these days. It seems like the Accelera 651S is the go-to tire recently.
