Love your honesty! This was an interesting compilation of books. You did quite a lot of reading in October. Thanks, as always, for your informative reviews.
A 50 minute video! What a treat! I’ve started a new job this week and your uploads have been the perfect thing to listen to as I wind down out of work mode 🧡
@@pickledbeetroots4413 congratulations on your new job! Ah, that's so nice of you to say because I was worried that nobody would watch a 50-min video 🙈
Hi, I'm one of the new followers that found your channel through that video you mentioned. I thought, anyone who loves Frankenstein most have good taste. Love hearing you telling about books, really inspiring. I'm impressed by how much you read! You must be a fast reader & obviously don't have Netflix. 😉 No reading tips from me, I have only read Swedish books recently, that's not been translated to English. Also, been reading mostly biographies. Anyway, just wanted to say Hi & thanks!
Congratulations on 1K! I'm one of those new subscribers and really enjoying your content so much. I respect your opinions and how you aren't afraid to dnf. And that you re-read! Great video. I'm a big mystery reader but I've never Sherlock Holmes! I should.
I've only read 1 Grady Hendrix book which was the Southern Vampire one and loathed it, but I can't deny that the cover art on My Best Friend's Exorcism is some of the best I've seen.
Hi, Jennifer! Just found your channel and looking forward to following your reading journey. 😊 What an interesting video this one is! So many different kinds of books! Glad you warned us off 'The Last Murder at the End of the World' - that was recommended by a friend, but it really doesn't sound like my cup of tea. ☺️ The book of poetry sounds wonderful. Definitely picking up a couple copies of it - one for me and one for a gift! Thanks so much for sharing what you've been reading. ~ Kim
Congratulations on the subscribers 👋The poem you read was lovely ! I'm very interested in reading Blindness by Saramago, I'll get there one day or the other.
I'm glad you had another 5 star book! You hated The Last Murder at the end of the world?? I gave it 3 stars and liked the twist but agree that it was quite messy.
!!! tell me the word that was in gideon the ninth, i HAVe to kno!! also i loved hearing u talk abt the well of loneliness... i like to think of it as a novel that is an 'and', in the sense that its absolutely a lesbian novel & it was written to be a lesbian novel by the author etc AND i also think its a trans novel too & altho i dont think u ~need to read stephen as trans, she can definitely be read that way very easily & gender & sexuality isnt always seperatable anyway! that being said it is a v sad book imo lol but super iconic lol
@@actual-spinster yes, totally agree with everything you say about The Well of Loneliness and I think I'll come to appreciate it more when I reread it. It's a great book, so glad that I finally read it.
I agree with you on Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, to me it is more about duality inside us.
Seems like you had a pretty decent reading month!
@@ReadingNymph thank you! It was a good reading month overall 😊
Always love your wrap ups!! Thank you again for the heads re Saramago ☺️❤️

You have made me more intrigued by burial plot, think I will look for it at the library. Wow a one star 😮😮😮 I won’t touch that book..
@@novellenovels haha, the one star book just really annoyed me 🙈 but some people do like it!

I DNF’d an Ashley Winstead and it makes me really nervous to try another, but I am tempted by this one.
