I decided to plead and accept if he would do something because I couldn’t stomach the idea of hurting him in addition to me living in California, so the laws are finicky and I would’ve been arrested and convicted even if I did so in self defense. He spit on me and left and I called the cops, they found him and he punched a cop, was already on probation and resisted, so dude is gonna go to prison.
