there is slot of drain when one unit is self cleaning ,the other is filtering the oil please note that direction of oil flow is opposite in cleaning unit as compared to filtering unit therefore it don’t interfere . moreover cleaning filter unit drain is opened the dirty oil will get drained
nothing lube or fuel oil pressure will not drop in the system in use but the auto back wash unit which is getting drained will reflect drop in pressure

Its depend on your system modication Oil will go in sludge tank Sludge pump will run and oil will go sludge tank or you can take it in recirculation of your hfp separators suction line
I have experienced a backflush filter that consists of another filter for cleaning the sludge of backwashed amount of sludge. That means that filter cleans the back washed sludge from candle filters again before it going to sludge tank for further saving of oil in lube oil system. It is common in Lube Oil system for saving lube oil
Sir, please make video on depression of back wash filter , because so many time accident happen while over hauling or cleaning....... suddenly oil splashes on face...

What will happen for lube oil pressure when the drain is open?
nothing lube or fuel oil pressure will not drop in the system in use but the auto back wash unit which is getting drained will reflect drop in pressure

1st of all isolate the filter...
Then
Manual backflush the candles 5 times
Then open the drain vlv
Isolate the air
And handed over to Mechanics
