    Nicely explained only audio gets low at some area but rest of the video is very easy to understand, good job.

      Yes...there is a slight bug/breaking in audio during recording..will sort that out..

    1.HFO, which is usually the fuel used, has a sulphur content of upto 3.5% m/m.. this can't be used in SECA areas to ensure compliance with MARPOL Annex.6.. low sulphur fuels like diesel or gas oil must be used.. (after the new 2020 amendments to this annex, even some grades of diesels can't he used) unless you have a certified EGCS.. (EGCS is only for propulsion engine so boilers and generators have to be run on alternate fuels, but since topic is related to main engine changeover, we'll stick to that for now) and any malfunction in your EGCS implies that main engine can't be run.. in such situations, we always need another type of fuel which can be used without hassle..
    2. In case of malfunction or boiler or economizer leading to lack of steam or incase of any damages or leaks in steam pipes the fuel oil heaters or viscotherm lines, the heavy fuel oil can't be used.. in such cases, diesel or other similar fuels are alternatives until a solution is found

    Sir why the changeover takes place.....why we don't run on a single fuel what's the reason behind it

      Because if we go to the European ports they limits the sox EMISSIONS ,sox can be controlled only by change over to d.o. oil as it is having less sulfur content than h.f.o. ,also in some SPECIAL EMISSION CONTROL AREA in sea sox is limited(.1%) so fuel change over becomes essential.

      It is depends on volume of system. The rule is that temperature must not be changing faster then 2°C per minute.

      If it is would be faster, then something could be stuck
