The founder was not super accurate and was definitely biased against Ray. He really made McDonald’s what it is. The McDonald’s brothers had shown themselves to be mediocre businessmen and made more money because of ray than they ever would have on their own.
Oh I totally agree, And i'm sure he didn't mean to at the time, but he did buy the whole company for fractions of pennies on the dollar compared to what that company ended up being worth. Which yes, arguably, ray is the reason that it became worth that much in the end.
