Hi mate I unwrapped the electrical tape that the elec sparky wrapped and found an orange and green wire but no terminals. I stripped and connected them but it didnt go into lithium profile. Any ideas? I swapped from agm to itechworld 240x pro which is a drop in apparently but they recommend switching 2 lithium profile if possible.
hey mate, no the terminals are something that we put on our kits to make it easier for our customers. Normally they are just bear wires. But joining the orange and green wires together will put the unit in to lithium mode and start to flash the "LI" light. However it wont change modes until the charger goes into isolation mode so no solar charge or vehicle charge coming in. Hope that helps.
Hi, Ive got your 70 series kit from about two hears ago. Its the 25a charger. It was set to A profile. I want to go to lithium. Will my harness have this heat shrink section like this one shown? Also my charger does not indicate “Li” i think it is just called “D” I am presuming this is lithium mode on the older units? Cheers
A very informative video of changing the charging profile. Thanks so much for sharing.
No worries mate, glad it was helpful
Great video, easy to follow and straight to the point.

Thanks mate, glad it was helpful
People also need to know about smart alternators and the correct way to connect them.
They certainly do mate. We have a video for that as well 👍

Hi Mate yer it will have heat shrink like this one and you can follow the same procedure 👍
Is it a problem if I have been charging a lithium battery on A profile ?
You would definitely want to change it mate
