Someone finally called out Dave on his "rookie score" shade
Dave is so fuckin annoying, worst reviewer ever... throws out random numbers, thinks he's an expert... changes his score based off of what score his guest gives hence why he makes them go first.... he just makes his review lower, all pretentious like.... has to say he did 450 like 3 times like that makes him better reviewer, like his tastes are better... has to say can't give out 9's proving he scores low on purpose like the dickhead he is... can't stand him.

They’re both right in this argument. To Kevin it’s a 9 based on his pizza experience so far and he left room for higher scores. Kevin can’t give it the same score as Dave since he hasn’t tried as many pizzas. It’s all based on experience.
For real. If it's the best pizza you've ever tasted, then it's a 10. No doubt about it. If you then taste a better pizza, then you can now lower it to a 9.
The fact Dave can't construct 3 or 4 sentences effectively communicating what you just did every single time he tries to explain this is crazy.

What's😄 funny is that I just started watching these reviews only about 2 weeks ago, and I love the catalog where I can just go back and watch the oldies but goodies. Maybe I have watched 35-40. I have long way to go.. Keeps me from not thinking about the crazy world.

I need to try the places you've scored over a 9. I went to this restaurant when visiting NY over the summer and it was the best cheese pizza I've ever had. If this is only a 7.4, then those other places must be amazing.
John's on bleeker received one of his top scores. It was 9.4 or somethin' around there. All of his 9+ scores are for pies that come from coal fire ovens and are thin and a bit crispy. (also my favorite type personally, because I'm not big on pizza with a ton of cheese on it. So the thin pies made with great dough, great sauce and minimal cheese are perfect for me.)
Another 9 spot was Lucali in Brooklyn (a few other high scores around there). Also recall one on Manhattan, opened fairly recently, with the owner and his chill girlfriend hanging around. I think Pres had it even over John's on Bleeker as a slice (could only order the whole pizza at John's). Had even Frankie try and confirm the score to show he wasn't swayed by the owner standing next to him. Can't remember the name of that place though.
edit. That place on Manhattan (with the owner) was Sauce. 9.1 from Pres. Lucali in Brooklyn was 9.3 and another highly rated Brooklyn spot was Di Fara, 9.4. Apparently Joe's is another classic on Manhattan.
It’s personal preference really. I tried all his 9’s when I went to NYC and I would not rank any of them in the 9’s for me. I’m more of a football pizza guy. Give me lots of cheese and sauce on a big thin crispy slice.
@@sresner7 Best pizza in NYC is Amore Pizza in Flushing. There pizza is amazing. There's always lines to get the pizza so the pizza is always fresh. I feel like telling them to "think about it" would help... I can always tell whenever you're saying one bite, etc, etc, they take it literally and take one nibble then feel pressure and throw out a 9 or a 10-banger... tell them to think about it and rate it in the scope of the best pizzas they've ever had, if it's not the best pizza they've ever had it wouldn't make sense to give it a 9 - 10
