  • An audio recording of a plain course of Cambridge Surprise Minor at St Stephen's, St Albans.
    The bells here are a ring of six, which all of them were cast by Mears and Stainbank in 1957. They are bright, punchy, and very melodious. They are also quite similar to the peal of eight down in Birchington, Kent, which were also cast by the same founder, but this time, year earlier, in 1956.
