I'm a simple man, if the brawl doesn't require deck building and thus being pay to win, I approve of it.
you have to get to lvl 20 before you can brawl, to get there you needed to play some constructed, thus since you approve of brawl you approve of pay to win

MaximusCactus It helps by a large margin. You'll be grinding a lot more if you lose all your matches.

The huge changes from brought from WotOG has made this Brawl really different. Hunter is really powerful this time around, and Druid (if you get Fandral) is insta-win.

I think there's a misplay at 23:46. He didn't need to kill the explosive sheep and sacrificing his own minions. He had a freeze trap that protected him for 1 turn, allowing him to get much more damage in with Call of the Wild. Anyone agreeing with me?
yeah it could work out, but he probably wanted to deal with it before having huffer on board as well. AND its not too out of the question that the druid could find some way to kill of the sheep himself, so.. But definitely possible to choose differently than the great kripp
Why the hell would you want to freeze a 2 mana cost minion? You want to freeze that huge 8 drop he might play next turn.
obviously to gain tempo and face damage. Sometimes you play a hard removal on small minion for that reason. only a newb can think of only remove big minion with hard removal.

Gazlowe singlehandedly wins then game. This is the first and last time anyone will say that.
I've never actually seen him so far. A mage with 2 Antonidas and a druid with 3 Illidans yes, but no Gazlowe yet. Poor druid played the Illidans against me when I was doing my warlock quest, all 3 of them got pacted XD.

I got Gazlowe and Antonidas in two different games. It was preeeeetty good
Messing around with shaman in this brawl is too much fun. Previous round was Evolve, with Primal Spirits and Tuskar and the works, this one was windfury + rockbiter OTK. A couple of rounds before that was double reincarnate sylvanas. Things seem to synergize awfully well to be as random as they are.
There were 4 choices. 1 was battlecries +1/+1, 2 was deathrattles, 3 was whenever you cast a spell you get 3 armor, and 4 was you get a murloc tinyfin at the start of each of your turns.

a cool addition to this brawl should be when you play the idol it chooses a spell or minion from your opponents class. example both playing priest, youll draw priest spells and minions, yet if youre playing rogue and opponent is warrior, youll draw warrior cards while your opponent draws rogue cards.

there was 4 in the glitchy brawl. the other two are: gain 3 armor when you play a spell, or get a tinyfin at the end of your turn lol

i really liked this taver brawl, had a 14 games win streak with priest...just picked 2 spells/1minion every time. worked out pretty well :D

Its strategic, but tedious
I find you can speed up the games a lot of you ignore some higher cost, okay (still pick the really good ones) cards in favor of tempo. It forces your opponent to do the same and you can just play a fairly normal game and only have like one good spell in hand until need comes then you idol out an answer.
not when you turn ten Yogg and win or double Tirion and foe rage quits
pretty much exactly how I've been playing it, has worked great with hunter and mage so far

I find that Druid is pretty good since you can get a minion and a spell from the Raven idols, instead of just 1

There were 4 options... +1/+1 to battlecry minions, +1/+1 to death rattle minions, summon a 1/1 at the end of your turn, and gain 3 armor every time you cast a spel... the reason it was called off was the +1/+1 modify option was bugged. Basically if you casted a 2/1 it would buff it to be a 3/2... which is fine... but do 1 damage to that minion and it should be a 3/1.... yeah no that was bugged it would reset back to 2 health and the only way to kill it was to do 2 or more damage to it.
Oh interesting. I didn't think about hunter. Saw a lot of mage and warrior. Played druid for my quests. Druid seems to match well against warrior, because the bigger minions are more consistent in druid? Then again I only played 2 games so, maybe bull.
full spell hunter in TB is OP! early game is a bit hard but then call of the wild is INSANE
this is the only kripp video i've had to watch at x2.0 speed, how could they think keeping the raven idol animation in was okay

this brawl is awesome. the winner int decided by turn 2. my first game went to fatigue.
TAVERN BRAWL IDEAS

1: Hearthstone Duel- You can only play one card per turn but your turns only last for 5 seconds.
2: CoOp- I don't know specifically what Blizzard would do but a lot people really liked the CoOp tavern brawl.
3: Worst Deck Competition- You design a deck, like usual, but it's for your opponent instead of yourself.
4: Twice the Fun: 4 people per game. When you lose you can leave to the menu or stay and watch.
5: Ultimate Deck Builder: You design a deck but you have access to every card. (Either cards you don't have or cards from other classes.)

First time I played this brawl got a Yogg, emptied the whole deck then yogged for 30+ spells, it got returned to my hand, next turn yogged again for 30+ spells, it was epic. I ended up losing (wasn't trying to win, the guy had back to back ice blocks).
I got yogg a few times playing this tavern brawl, it was pretttyy good.
I've been murdering with Warlock. I've gotten lucky with Dreadsteeds. Really fun brawl.
nozdormu is really fun to play on this one since raven idol is along animation
I played cancer freeze mage in this tavern brawl. Discover a minion, pray that its sorcerer's apprentice, get free raven idols + all the freeze spells and go fireballs to the face. Also get a flamewaker if possible.

warrior is also really fun good erly dominance due to smash etc and i got lucky with emperor and chromaggus so all i had was relativ free spells and absolut dominance vs a helpless warlock
Getting Lock and load in this Brawl is just nuts.
Is the new big thing going to be a proper card expansion or a solo adventure? The latter seems more likely.

I think it would be cool if there was a brawl where you started with 10 mana and worked backwards loosing a mana each turn until you hit one and go back up. The mana cycle would just continue until you win or loose.
druid=op fandral is likely enough to get that you can play druid slow until you find one then combo for huge value. also druid has nice suvivability and control.
i t2d astral communion into cho and auctioneer with kelthuzad to back them. that game was probably the longest and funniest I've ever had
I got a Deathlord as a priest in this brawl, after 2 tentacles, 2 divine spirit and 1 inner fire, death really didnt scare him anymore.
Does Kripp speed up the intro where he talks? The way he moves...
Note for going second: Focus on board control. Stay away from spells, get cheap minions, start pushing. They'll start blowing their idols on "the fix" that will (almost) never come, and if you get lucky you get some minions with synergy on spellcast. Warrior and Shaman do very well with this, almost always winning when you get cheapy minions; hell, last Shaman game I won, I had six ravens in my hand, and after a snowball starter on Turn 1, converted them to direct damage and slapped the hunter silly.
This rogue just used burgle and got archmage, 2 fireballs, and torch. While I drew my first creature at turn four, rng too good.
So... how did he get a 4/10 klaxxi? Do the buffs still count even if it's not applied to a c'thun?
Got Yogg-Saron, played max spell count, died next turn. Still worth it.
Can someone explains what was the first brawl they scrapped off? I didn't got it.
I hate this Brawl.
It is a fucking waste of time. Literally! Not only do you have to see the animation of Raven Idol about 30 times, you have to wait for the opponent to make up their mind, and the first 3 turns is pretty much dead time. In the end, its still about fucking RNGesus.

And by the way, considering you can actually CHOOSE the cards you draw, this gamemode is even more strategy based than normal hearthstone.

when ever I see a priest on this taverb brawl I generally go for the same exact strat... tree of life + naturalize (and some healing touches along the way) so i can just wait till their deck runs out and they can never kill me fast enough XD

i was sad when the choose a side brawl left, i was kicking ass with board clear priest. 3 armor on each spell is ginormous and lightbomb doesn't give two shits about +1/+1

I had an amazing game with hunter where I got deathwing dragonlord and two malygos'. That was a fun OTK when both malygos' swarmed out of my hands and I kill commanded face for 13
It was going to be a different brawl, but Battlecry minions were completely broken (a bugged broken)
Kripp... I picked shaman and I got Mana addict. 2 games in a row. And got wind fury. 2 games in a row. Turn 5 lethal both games ;) not very slow paced
I miss the days Kripp used to make other kind of videos, now it's just hearthstone :(
I actually think this is the best brawl. It's the most interesting and skill-intensive by far.
I liked the DIY explosive shot LOL, why pick the card when you can fastshot+powershot.

The c'thun cards work a lot like religion when you play the cards without actually having c'thun. The idea is there, but the entity doesn't exist.
i got yogg once as shaman only chose spells became like 40 spells or so
Imagine smashing a spider, only to have two more (even Bigger) spiders crawl out of it's corpse.

I played hunter and managed to feign death a Sneeds twice with some amazing plays, and then sneeds popped a Majordomo, and then my mage opponent discovered three fireballs in a row and killed me. GG Blizzard.
I once got 2 jaraxxus' and a c'thun within the first 5 turns or the brawl. I died on about turn 7 :P

Hey Kripp, could you try to use and test the viablity of Mindgames in standard. I made a video on it, but I was wondering what were your thoughts as well and how they contrasted to mine. I know you think it is shit, but if you look at my video, I don't think it is actually as bad as it should be right now.
I played as mage and I got a mana wyrm every turn it was insane. My opponent quickly conceded to that.

i've played a few games and iv gotten really lucky in every game nothing early played for late and the 7+ drop cards i got + leg card carried me to victory
