I wonder why boats dont use solar energy? It’s literally out in the open sun all day
For a few reasons: solar panels have relatively low energy density compared to what's required to run most boats. Also the batteries required to store solar energy are relatively expensive and relatively heavy for a boat. Also as u pointed out, it's out in the sun but that source can be intermittent in terms of weather conditions; so reliability is somewhat iffy. One of the other reasons is that the space and surface area required by solar panels to run most boats is very limiting relative to what is needed to capture a decent amount of solar energy. Hopefully this sheds some light no pun intended; salute 🫡

His dad did not like him parking his BMWs on his lot etc., so soon began after market tuning the mercedes his dad gave him. People saw it and asked him to do it to their MB and Brabus was born.

C'mon ice stop giving people misinformation! 😂. Brabus does not make boats or outboard engines. They just slapped the name on it . The boat and steering wheel are all Axopar not Mercedes Benz 😆 and outboard engines are Mercury Marine. Does not have a Sail! It's just a sunshade.
