- If the first corner of the track is a 90 degree turn with walls, well be prepared to get surprise buttsecks! This is pretty much ranked race in a nutshell. Wall-riders, chaos and ramming. Luckily we still won this playlist 3-1.
Car used is the widebody Jaguar F-Type, sexy looking car. There will be a dedicated video for it so stay tuned! Just need to do the final tuning touches.

Forza needs to stop awarding wall riding. You can legitimately finish a race by not braking at a corner and crashing into every barrier. Ramming has no consequences

Skylon Moss teams have no place in a racing game. Where do you see people doing team work in the races unless its a playground race? But if you know these bad drivers exist, you get better and learn how to deal with them. I have cars specifically geared to against ramming, i know how to pick my fights and win my battles. I can knock anyone into a tree if they try me👌 and still get a podium finish. Like how hard is it to outsmart a bad teammate/player? The tactical wall ride needs to be nerfed
Taking walls off would be nice but there is just things an update cannot add or remove

well or they do it like in the StreetRacing scene style races. Only with the waypoints and no walls

@@loiclabonne5708 it's tactical because it's more beneficial to wall ride than it is to grip the ground. You don't loss all that much speed if the wall if white and orange. I don't recommend doing it on black and white striped walls
Unfortunately wallriding is faster way to take corners most of time in FH4. Developers should have done something with this before release game.
Take the walls off and put ranked in ghost mode and you will see the seperation of the good drivers to the bad ones

Jose A. Folch I’d say keep the walls in but instead of being quicker after scraping them they should slow you down A LOT. This way players stay on track if a mistake is made but they also don’t benefit from the mistake or they don’t benefit from intentional doing it and they get penalised

We need a CS Overwatch style reporting system to ban these dirty trash ramming/wall riding 'racers' from ranked adventures.
In addition to non contact and solo playlist options.
Great ideas but not even 100 updates can add that not even solo adventures like in horizon 3

Something like this can only exist in ranked, less u want the playerbase to just quit. At that point only the dedicated & motorsport fans would play ranked - making match times even longer to que.
I'm in no way trying to defend T10 but this is probably their rationale
YouveGot2BshittingMe I see your point but on the other hand if only the dedicated and serious players will continue to queue ranked then the overall quality of races will be far higher, and if combined with a solo matchmaking option then it wouldn't need a full 12 people to begin an adventure as there's no teams to balance causing little to no negative impact on queue times at best, and minimal increases at worst.

Honestly the entire way theyve handled mp overall has been so disappointing and would have otherwise made a mediocre game, something truly worth playing for years to come.

Its especially frustrating when you consider how well they've handled other aspects of the game
The forza players are actually depressing to watch, its so chaotic, its sometimes full of road rage....its always something.

Thats whats happen when a game dont educate its player base .. in FH1 it was done by the race layout with 90° turn with right angled tyre Wall and high friction walls everywhere with no checkpoints
Add to this a smart ghosting that ghost player that dont brake in corners (the detect it already with the racing line)
And half of the MP chaos is gone
Another thing is .. this chaos come from casuals miss leaded in there purchases .. this is what happen when u sell an almost sim game as an arcade racer for everyone

I think they've added this game into the Game Pass for xbox and because it's cross platform you just get all the mongs that have never played a racing game ruining it for the people who have put hundreds of hours in!

This one thing I hate about forza, you get people who don’t know what clean racing is. They just drive dirty all the time! I mean when I play adventure, I sometimes get pushed of the road to miss a checkpoint.....by my teammate!

What’s most disappointing to me about FH4 is that the majority of highly ranked “drivers” make their way through races by never braking - they just blow through turns and slam into walls with no repercussions.
Not all of the high ranking drivers are rammers (like me) but it is true that the majority are expert rammers and wallriders that abuse the systems.
Clean driving should have an effect on the score so the people that ram/wallride or whatever get punished with a lower score and the people that drive skillfully with clean driving get more points.
but with the current setup of forza the dirty driver that smashes into the back you at a closing speed of 200km/h also destroys YOUR clean racing robbing you of that skillpoints/xp gain anyway
I cant believe that is still a thing. It actively punishes ANY driver who can drive a clean line even in single player mode the ai scum will ram you and erase a clean streak back to zero
The only way is a human referee.
Because like @kineticdeath said, an AI won't make any difference between a rammer and a victim.

A normal driver pushed out the road? He will be penalized, no matter how and by who he got rammed.

I can't believe how much toxicity there was in just the first race. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite that bad in such a brief period of time.
UNRANKED lobbies are way cleaner than that.
Horizon 4 has turn into a childs game horizon 2 and 3 much cleaner and smoother
im not a very good driver but i try to keep it as clean as possible. and i agree, in unranked there is no where near as much ramming or wall riding as in this video

This is the reason I'm staying away from ranked. Unless they implement some sort of ruleset to this shit, I won't touch ranked.
Wish they had a system to punish the rammers/wall riders. Like how in Grid autosport if you cut through the track your car speed slows down slightly.
@@demoiwright4031 While I would love to have a system implemented, not one about cutting, but excessive ramming, pushing or wallriding. Grid Autosport is not a good example as it was too punishing even for a really small cut that normally wouldn't be punished. It felt like if you dip two wheels a few centimeters off the track, it just detects cutting no matter what.
If they can't stop drivers ramming, damage should be added in for races. Crash into a wall - you're done. Force contact onto another driver - finished.
I really wish D/C/B class adventure was a thing. :(

New Idea, ghost anyone who goose high speed into a corner using the detecting tools of auto driving line. Also add anti cheat barriers like an invisible wall in the near beginning of a barrier.

It would be a better idea for forza 7 or track racers.

i dont understand this they crash into wall and you take the corner cleanly yet they are faster out of corner than you...
Uraz cuz they dont lose speed and momentum much when wallriding which really ruins the game

FH3 online adventure is much better because winning was based on XP you could've been in the last place but still win. In FH4 you just hope that your team has good players. Clean driving and skills are pointless now. This has become such a demolition derby

When they make you go slower when wallriding, the rammers have even more incentive to smash you in to a wall. Don't think this issue will ever be fixed :(

Only thing needed for this game is to implement real damage and repair mechanics - like you ram into the wall, you damage your car, once you got too much damage, you´ll be unable to finish the race. But - if you damage your opponents in the process, you´ll be charged to pay for all damage you caused and if you damage your teammates, the charge will be doubled. SO if you just continue ramming to everyone you´ll be soon too poor to be able to play ranked matches.
OMG, I have to do the online adventure to get the encore? achievement after delisting. This looks "fun" with all the ramming 😒 The music during the curve ramming made me laugh 😂

Horizon 3 races seems way more smoother than this crap, plus the wall riding here is truely sad, hope one day you can do again a horizon 3 online solo adventure for a quick flashback 😍😍😍

That's kinda what I like about online racing, it's also combat, I tuned a noble m600 for it, to spin while maintaining control, awd 0% lock , got to use it a few times, some guy tries to hit me, I spin and use the momentum to slam him straight into a wall, then bounce off him.
Fun fact, for the wall riders who try to pass you, aim your cornering to glance the wall right after the corner, they'll end up hitting you , slowing them down and speeding you up, it's Hilarious using people's tricks against them

The problem is that everyone came from the career mode and there is no one who trains in a direction thinking of little contact, then when they go to the online in this confusion

It's also called not knowing how to drive properly. Seriously, those types of players (I struggle to even consider them racers or even drivers) need some sort of punishment for that behavior.

Uninstalled it today because of how some people play it, not reinstalling it until they bring back collision off and individual races, as well as letting players choose car class. TEAM RACING SUCK!

they should implement an invisible wall that stocks your car dead in its tracks when you hit a wall and grinding it for a distance or at speed. that way people who hit the wall or ram people to wall grind with stop instantly and should also get a 3 second delay not being able to roll on the throttle. that should fix most of them. xD

I love how Grandma Driving tries to let people pass him and to repay him they ram him, isn't there something that Forza can do to stop it happening, like a new update where your car turns into a ghost car
I was driving the bac mono in ranked today and in one race I was sent flying into the water after some dumbass forgot brakes where a thing, I was 2nd and finished 10th out of 12. Also I hate flashbacks in multiplayer they are useless most of the time.
This is every race I've joined, ranked or unranked. Whomever St PG Games thought this mess was a great MP racing idea should be shot into the sun faster than a wall-rider shoots past you.
in ranked, the devs need to add a configuration that allow with some button activate shadow ( limited orwith cd or something like that), and make all players in ranked take real damage.

This game screams for a penalty system like Gran Turismo Sport. But then again, this is an online game. What the hell do you expect. People racing cleanly and playing nice with eachother? Nah. not in an online environment where there are no consequences.
There’s something they’ve done with the collision physics which makes it so difficult to get the front when you have people playing aggressively. It’s like you get nudged a bit and then your in a wall.
You either finish last or you live long enough to become a rammer
Yea this is a problem in FH4, I wished they would add something like if you wallride then get slowed down + ghost so you dont abuse other players or your own position.

Was debating picking up horizon 4 today. This just solidified my decision not to. Same reason I stopped playing horizon 3. The few good racers aren’t reason enough to deal with this 75% of the time.

Cross Country is not bad in A Class. It just happens WAY too much.
Now, getting S2 on snow/offroad, turns me the f³ck right off.
Get the Mclaren 720S and create and offroad/rally setup and you're golden for S2

As a fan of realistic race sims, usually the only time I branch out is for the extra crazy stuff like Red Out. Simcade stuff generally bores the crap out of me. This game looked so sweet in the trailers, but after watching some youtubes.. yawn. Race lines, 90% open road tracks, cornering means little to nothing, no collision damage so no risk, cutting corners through dirt at over 100mph with no consequences.... yeah I'll stick to Red Out when I feel the need for something different.
