Earthroamers have taken off over the last few years. This has lead to people building these awesome DIY overland rigs! Is this something you are considering?
I've watched over 500 trailers, RV, campers and tiny home videos. I simply adore the concept of living small but with luxury. And this truck camper of yours is by far the best one I've seen. Congratulations.
The irony is that quitting school is probably the best thing for you. Although you won’t realize this until just after graduation when you realize that now you get to teach yourself how to make money while holding down an assistant manager position at Starbucks
This is THE best laid out arrangement I’ve ever seen. Your use of space is fabulous. One of my biggest complaints is the waisted space, particularly in small units. Drawers & cabinets leave so much space unused.
you already know that this is THE BEST looking DIY RV on the planet. No question. I had a 6.0 2003 stolen out of my driveway that was bulletproofed etc but I replaced it with a 2012
You can do whatever you want if you have a good soul mate. Sharing the life together at the nature with your wife, kids, dog and this great vehicle, do not make you old. I am so jealous now.
I love the pass through. I have been pricing out doing this, but can't afford the van/truck. But U-haul trucks are cheap, so with the passthrough, it makes a U-haul conversion on the table. Thanks!
@@leoblumhagen644 yeah, I was really surprised that with all the work they put into it that they did not use a mini-split system, you can run those 24/7/365 off of a good solar/battery setup
Euro Fritz just listened to Goneboondocking his new 5th wheel he’s not going to have solar panels at all. He’s going with a 2 unit mini split 4 to 6 BB lithium and a dual fuel (gas or propane) generator, mostly relying on propane to power he feel he can recharge with 3 to 4 hrs and it’s cost effective over the additional hardware for a full solar setup. Interesting to see how that works out.
@@leoblumhagen644 , the moisture goes out the heaters exhaust system. So unless you vent your exhaust into the vehicle, I guess, but who the hell would do that?
Andrew, you are truly a genius. You are truly innovative.. You thought everything through cleverly and put safety at the top. The pass through and bulletproof is the perfect must have..... Great job 👍!!!
Using SIPS (Structural Insulated Panels) is a natural for these RVs. Glad to see you went this route. The beauty of them is they can be made up to 8'x24", and various thickness. They are inherently stiff/strong and bear all sorts of load. And of course, it is completely insulated. You can cut windows/doors, etc., and within reason, not endanger the structural integrity.
Just great, what a beast. Respect to you and your hard work! Bulletproofing the 6.0 at about $6k (by a pro) is a burden, but once done, the 6.0 is reborn and amazing.
Thanks for featuring some tiny house designs. People who consider living in this type of house would love this. We will send this to our customers to get nice ideas.
Great job guys! Please, make a video talking a little more about how do you afford to work remotely? How can people that what to have that kind of like start working remotely?
We were SO close to being full time RVers with our 6 kids (we’re a blended family), but it was held up by changes in our custody arrangement with my husband’s ex. We had renovated the whole thing and had even moved out of our place and were preparing to get on the road in a matter of days. Anyway, as far as work, my husband is a front end developer (a type of web developer), so he was just going to continue his work as usual. That’s one option. You should check out the website rootless living. They have a free magazine that gives lots of ideas on how people live this lifestyle.
@@dmsjt5181 I’m a freelancer translator, but my income it’s not enough for full time! I will check it out for sure, thank you! And don’t give up, if that is your family dream and goal, I’m sure you guys will find a friendly agreement where you can achieve that! 🙌🏽

I think all the people for sharing their homes with other people and their ideas their values if what you have going there Works keep it going but someone says if it's not broken don't fix it if it works for you it works for you I think it is a really really great idea what you're all doing it shows other people how to do it cuz there's some people just walk into smaller house if they want to live in and it's like what do you go from there but people like this young couple here and other people showing them I think it's really really great that work you don't need a big house and a big apartment and big mortgage payments and Rental payments and Lisas and and that I think it's wonderful what you're all doing cuz it's giving me ideas thank you so much for sharing your camper there it looks really great yet and it's organized
Good lord that battery bank cost more than my bus 😂 dope build, I hope I get to a point in life where I can spend multiple straight months building a $100k passion project. Good work!
Wow! That is the best build I have ever seen! You can see that you enjoy life to the full! Enjoy guys, and yes I am so jealous! 💚 Safe travels love Jackiex ❤️
6.0l is by far my favorite engine by far. My 250 has a 5.4l gasser in it when it dies i might drop a 6.0l in it or im gonna get a excursion with the 6.0l and make it my overland rig
I am in the process of converting a 26 feet U-haul truck into a tiny home/RV. I'm a retired and disabled veteran and would love to get some input from you. Your cabinets are amazing! I feel that my 26 footer would be a great conversion, specially since its paid for and I already have an awesome handicapped bathtub/shower, an electric macerating toilet, kitchen cabinets and an idea for a queen size raising bed (using garage springs instead of a Happy Jack). I live near Clear Water Beach Florida and will provide full accommodations and boating for your help!
This is really really nice ...the first thing I would've thought of would've been the pass through ...LOL!!! ..you guys must have had an awesome wedding ..... safe travels💞
Pretty cool build. I was surprised you didn’t go with a composting toilet since you are definitely set up for off grid living. Don’t know much about cassette potty’s so maybe I’m missing something! Many happy travels and stay safe!
Wow this is a totally amazing fantastic build. They have thought of absolutely everything. Why would you want/need a house/flat/apartment when you got one of these bad boys/girls. Great well thought out build guys. I would love one of these for sure 👌👍💕💕👏👏 Lisa UK
I couldn't imagine wanting to drive one of these things. So many great places can't be reached with this because of how big it is. I drive big vehicles for a living. But I don't wanna do that overlanding.
September 2020 Tiny Home Tours has tons of great ideas here for almost any living space here: Tiny Home, conventional home or apartment. Hi, thank you for your wonderful videos. 1) What is the overall dry weight of your camper ? 2) What is the interior height? 3) What is the exterior height just to the roof (not including the roof rack, etc?) Thank you 😊
SO cool we met at Bonneville salt flats when we were out there on the salt flats with our Tiny Home >:) Now I see the photos they got at the front of this video >:) Awesome to see this home done >:)
Great design! I am curious how the interior reacts to the flexing of the vehicle in an offroad situation, looking at the furniture, drawers, doors, everything looks so tight with barely any gaps (not criticizing just curious).
We've rallied this thing and thankfully haven't had any issues! The box shouldn't experience much flex at all with the way the mounting knuckles articulate.
Earthroamers have taken off over the last few years. This has lead to people building these awesome DIY overland rigs! Is this something you are considering?
If I was their age & had the money.... in a heartbeat.
Most definitely yes!!
Yes but on the smaller NZ Ford Ranger
Absolutely considering
No.

I can’t watch stuff like this because it makes quitting school and traveling the country a way too enticing option 😂
I agree, but it will come true. If you can dream it, you can do it🌎🚐
Do it
The irony is that quitting school is probably the best thing for you. Although you won’t realize this until just after graduation when you realize that now you get to teach yourself how to make money while holding down an assistant manager position at Starbucks
Everything in moderation. Finish school, get a remote job, save a few years, and work out of a vehicle like this.
