Brian, I'm So glad you are explaining all the buttons. When I first got SA I was just playing with buttons to see what they would do. Just had a drawing on the screen. (Of course, I didn't know what I was doing because I hadn't read the manual yet)... Anyway. The next day I imported an image to digitize and it didn't show up. I tried everything and even had a support ticket ready to send to find out why the app was "broken." But just then got to the point in the manual about the Show/Hide Image button. And there it was (actually about 10 of them because I kept importing them.) SA apparently remembered the last thing I had done in my exploring, and the button was down - image hidden. LOL So thank you. And folks, if you are watching the video, read the manual too under the help menu "HELP" and click on Stitch Artist. It's really well done! Liz
Good information to get me started with the basics. This software does a lot for the price I paid compared to the most expensive others. Thank you, BriTonLeap!
Thank you. Love Embrilliance. I need to keep watching these videos to remind me sometimes how to do things. Although the software is pretty intuitive and the buttons offer a visual guide of what you can and can’t do.
At 3:28 a dropdown menu lets you preview the fonts before selecting. On my SA1 all I get is a list and I have to commit to a selection to see what it looks like. How do I get the preview list like yours?
You do a good job until you all of a sudden went to the create tab and didn’t show us how you got there.. also when I click on the draw with points i only get rounded or curved lines. How do you make it do straight lines? It was never explained.
Hi! At 5:27 I do mention using the Ctrl key while clicking to get square nodes. Another video to help explain points is here: ruclips.net/video/1ty1tHeFl0o/видео.html Hope that helps!
I just purchased level 1 and had the same problem, if you quit the program and reopen, it asks for serial number (provided when you purchase software) and when it open you will see the create button
i want to import designs from fcm files toa program and put stitches around it .can stitch artist do this? and what stitces can i use ? does stitch artist have the blanket stitch? i have essentials now but want to bring in applique shapes and put stitches around them to embroider.
I have a question regarding the true type feature. You said it has a library of all the fonts in my system. Does that mean it accesses all the fonts on my computer? I have thousands of purchased commercial use fonts for my vinyl/sign shop. Since I have bought my embroidery machine, and use Embrilliance Essentials, I have been purchasing bx fonts. Many of them are the same fonts but in bx version. Can I stop buying bx fonts and use the thousands of .otf/.ttf that I have installed on my computer already for digitizing?

I've been playing with my SA as well. These videos look like just what I need. Can you tell me how I can pull up the transparency in my properties box?
Hi there, been using Essentials for a short time and have a question. I am wanting to do "in the hoop" free motion patterns in quilting, is this SA able to do that?
These are StitchArtist functions. There is a great overview video as well as beginner info on this page. www.Embrilliance.com/start Should help you decide!!
My back ground (canvas) is yellow and my images which I'm trying to open are not visible. Ive tried uninstalling then starting again but its doing the same thing. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

My truetype is n to changing the texts into the different fonts selected. Does the text need to be highlighted? Also, my window does not look the same as the one in this video.
yes, theres a reasonably good selection of most basic shapes, animal outlines, shields etc. I believe with stitchartist 2 you can import vector files effectively giving you any shape you want
@@Embrilliance I am a complete novice and no idea what your answers means! Do I need to start with essentials or enthusiast first before tackling SAL1?
@@Mumybear1 If you've never embroidered before, do some first so you get the idea. You don't need Essentials or anything else first, but it sounds like you may need some help with drawing. Hi, There is a free Trial version available at embrilliance.com/demonstration-versions and although it does not save, it does let you learn about the products. We have many tens of thousands of Mac users who would welcome you to the Embrilliance family!
I’m a Mac user and Embrilliance works fantastic. The only thing that doesn’t work is when you create your own thread palette you can’t import more than one colour at a time. Still, there’s no way I’d ever go back to using a windows computer. Once you go Mac you never go back.

that 'right click to close the hole' doesn't seem to work with the Mac version. Is there a list of alternate instructions for Mac users?

No - File > Save Stitch file as and save to your USB
