Great to get interesting information and have a few good belly laughs with the commentary as well.

Dan, these 'chateau alternative' videos are absolutely fascinating and your commentary is consistently informative - many thanks indeed! What other kinds of unusual buildings does the French property market have to offer? Disused hotels? Boarding schools? Factories?

I like the video as it gives a good idea how your fellow agencies are presenting their portfolios. Yeah, one definitely buys a property because it has a jacuzzi and fitness in it. I like your amusing comments as it brings it all back to reality. I once looked at a property (not in France) and the house had curious questionable alterations made to it, by telling the agent his reply was: only the land could make the price on its own (without the house on it). Nice! 😅 (actually my plan was to buy a house not a piece of land....)

How do you glance at the windows and know they are single glazed? The depth of the frame? You are so knowledgeable, I appreciate your videos!

Hi @octobird1, I have been in the business here for over 30 years, fault of habit I suppose. But yes, depth of the frame, the latches and models.
