- Well you asked for it, and I finally found a way to do it! Who is N. Trace? I told you about Crunch Bandicoot, Nina Cortex, and the Nitro Kart Bosses, so it's best I cover all the bases anyways! Enjoy the video and let me know in the comments who your favorite member of the Nitro Squad is!

Ami is pronounced "Ah-me"!!! Not "Amy"! If it was pronounced Amy, then her name would BE Amy! So shuuuush. Don't make me fight you! Pronounce my girl's name CORRECTLY you FOOLS.
As a recommendation for those thinking it's "Amy", think back to when Cartoon Network had a show with two specific Asian "pop stars". You know the ones; Ami and Yumi. It's an Asian name, so "Ami" is pronounced how they'd say it in the show. Like most names, it's a common name to be mispronounced amongst the masses.
In the Japanese version of the game, Ami's name is エイミー(Eimii) and it's pronounced by the Japanese pretty much like Amy. And Ami Matsumura-Blaire herself is from Japan.

Ive actually met quite a few Amy's in my life who have their name spelled with an I not a Y...hell someone I knew went to school with a girl named Ladasha and it was spelled La-ah...i didnt believe her til 4 years later at my new job at a cable company she called in...
Spelling being used as a determination of how something is pronounced is no longer valid nowadays.
Okay, here are some points you could've added for some of these characters:
- N. Trance: He was supposed to make an appearance in Twinsanity, where he was supposed to get his brain eaten by Evil Crash, and in the cancelled "Cortex Chaos" games. He also appears in Nitro Kart, racing for Emperor Velo.
- Zem and Zam: They're Oxide's minions, and they make an appearance in the Nitro-Fueled comic.
- Baby Crash: Crash actually has a baby costume in Crash Tag Team Racing, although in CTTR, it's just normal Crash wearing a diaper.
- The Trophy Girls: You could've mentionned their credits sequence in CTR, like how Ami became an actual racer and wanted to win trophies of her own, Isabelle landed a bitpart in the season finale of "Bay Waters", etc.
One other note regarding Isabella.
In the Japanese version of CTR, Isabella becomes a racer instead of Ami.

some more info about n trance is when cortex castle and crash’s house got teleported he mind controlled dingodile polar and pura to get them to race maybe there on team trance?

Plot twist. Oxide is actually from area 51, where told humans how to create parking lots, then he escaped to go and turn every other planet into one.

N. Trance was also meant to appear in Crash Twinsanity with N. Gin's group to find Evil Twin's treasure. But then his brain got eaten by Evil Crash and possibly got burnt by Spyro. He had the worst luck in the game next to Cortex
The scene was scrapped because it was deemed too graphic.
@@DrRank yeah they could've went for a more comical approach, with Evil Crash taking N Trance crudely trying to cook him on a frying pan over a fire, with N Trance in complete horror. XD
Actually, this isn't the first time we've seen Baby Crash. In the DS version of Crash of the Titans, Nina turns Crash into a baby just before the final boss if you got all the Gems. Before that, Crash Tag Team Racing had a Baby Crash skin as a completion bonus for finding all the hidden death animations, but that was just Adult Crash in a diaper.
I really like the new comic that came out for crash team racing nitro fuelled before the games release revealing that connection with oxide, zem and zam. It was really interesting I thought.
Maybe Zam is Oxide's pet, while Zem is a member of Velo's species that he assigned to race with Oxide so that he could have a full team of three.

Also worth noting: N.Trance had no race team in CNK but made one from hypnotizing Polar, Dingodile and Pura to race for him. The Team Trance kart originally also had no steering wheel as well. They were controlled thru (No surprise) mind control too
Some people - myself included - theorise that the karts are controlled by the driver's brains.
Also another fact:
The Trophy Girls/Nitro Squad's name are based of real life Naughty Dog and Sony's manager. Example is Megumi is the one that created the iconic Crash Dance
Hopefully they can expand these characters in later games
Megumi's my personal favorite. I just like how much of an overeager dork she is. Gives her a cute factor.

I actually think N. Trance might have some potential for a new Crash game. He is pretty unique and has some interesting powers and transformations.
By the way, I can't stress enough how much I like the Nitro Squad; it's a very nice little group of Bandicoot girls, I would be glad to see them again in future Crash Bandicoot games (even though they might be hard to be introduced outside the multiplayer/racing genre of the saga). Before CTR Nitro-Fueled, there would have been no doubt I would have said that Tawna is the best of the 5 girls, but now my favorite is Ami, the muscular greenhead girl. And I don't say that just because she is the only Advanced character of the Nitro Squad; she was just made to be a racer, even when she was just a trophy girl (and Beenox made a great job in improving those 4 simple character completely)
Yeah honestly N.Trance has a lot of potential as a villain cause he does stuff and was the closest thing Uka Uka had contact of to ensure victory, not to mention his powers are pretty darn OP, so yeah i do hope he shows up in a future game, heck give us Crash Bandicoot GBA remakes you cowards at Activision blizzard. 😁

My headcanon is that the planet Gasmoxia has two intelligent species, Oxide's race and Zem's race. I assume that Oxide's race are the primary intelligent species, while Zem's race act as minions for them. Based on Zem's behavior, this seems to be a willing relationship and not one forced on them.
As for my favorite Nitro Squad girl, I would have to go with Megumi. Not only is she smart, pure, and innocent but she also has the best fashion sense.
Well, in a comic, Zem and Zam are established Gasmoxians.
Final Master then why does Zem look way different from Oxide if they are the same species?

My favorite of the Nitro Squad is Megumi because she's just so happy it's so nice to see. And... I just don't get much personality or anything from the other three. They all seem like different shades of the same self-absorbed, over competitive character.

Megumi is my favorite. She is just so sweet and adorable and I love how when she doesn't win, she claps for the person in the first place (unlike most other characters, who get super pissed or cranky, haha). Also, I find it interesting that even though she is one of the nicest characters, she used to give trophies to Cortex, the main antagonist of the franchise...
Always wondered if I was missing something about N. Trance, I guess he just exists and that's it 😅

To be honest I think you are being way too hard on N. Trance. Of course he has potential; you just need more games to flesh him out. He was an original villain and one of the only fresh ideas the GBA games had, and you could say the same thing about his potential as other characters in the series, like N. Trophy (seriously, what significance does he have outside of a time travel-related story?). It's not really fair to say a character has no potential when his potential wasn't even reached because his only appearances were a GBA game (where he had an original and actually challenging boss fight) and a racing game. VV saw enough potential in him to want to have him show up in Twinsanity (which was the plan but he was cut for time). Would love to see him given a chance to shine in a 3D Crash platformer some day.
I wouldn't say the babies are meant to jabs at Mario Kart; they painfully seem to play the whole thing straight and act as pure roster filler. And as for my fav trophy girl, definitely Ami, though I do wish her voice was a bit less raspy. I'm glad they all got revamped in Nitro Fueled; they actually fit in as characters now instead of being shallow out-of-place "characters" with huge anime eyes and off-putting fanservice.
I strongly disagree. N. Trance most definitely does have potential or room for potential. And he most certainly does have a reason for returning. I've written three Crash Bandicoot concepts so far and he's appeared in all three of them. While he only had a recurring role in 2/3 of them, he still had a role.
His most significant role of the three involved him joining up with N. Tropy, N. Brio, and Uka Uka to get revenge on Crash, Coco, Crunch, and Tawna. Though I got to admit, I never gave an explanation as to why they would join up with N. Trance again, after he indirectly betrayed them in Crash Nitro Kart by working for Emperor Velo XXVII.
N. Trance is short tempered, but he's also crazy and psychotic. When he brainwashed Dingodile, Polar, and Pura into racing for him, you may notice that all three of them have inherited his crazy and psychotic personality traits, especially Dingodile. All four of them also display traits of cowardice during high or long jumps.
One thing I should point out is that Velo isn't Gasmoxian. Or at least it hasn't been confirmed that he is. I mean he has his own planet, and unless evidence shows up that confirms otherwise, I have no reason to believe that he isn't native to that planet.

I love N. Trance, I know he doesn't really have done anything, but he has potential, if they choose the screenwriter right.
Actually if you were to get into a fight with Ami, who is the one who is Buff, you would probally get the response of a suplex. XD
My favorites definitely have to be Ami and Megumi. Megumi is sweet, and must be protected (I'm also a sucker for blue-haired characters), and Ami is tough and has my respect.
Since Crash N Tranced was my first crash game I really like N Tranced being in the game and one of my favorites it’s all just a matters of tastes

Baby Crash and Baby Coco are the result of Fake Crash altering the past, causing Crash and Coco to beat Cortex but are the ones who fall. Thus, the siblings turn to babies.
Baby Crash appears in Xrash of Titans DS on the 100% ending, which is also the bad one.

The way I see Zem is he is just a hired muscle person for Oxide and Velo. The one who if one of Velo's slave racers refuses, Zem goes in and roughs them up.

Even though this video is a week old a bit, I wanted to say something now. I noticed that on the nitro kart maps, Tiny temple, and Inferno island both have Oxide ship's, when technically Oxide never crashed down in Ctr ending, even both endings he never did. So can Zem and zam were in those ships, and then Velo just randomly made them stay with him? idk, they can just be cameos to the original game.
I like Ami, mostly because she was Dingodile’s trophy girl. Speed characters rule.

They should of put N trance in crash 4 cause he suits the theme of the game kinda. Also we need more of the thanos egg (N trance)
I thought Zem & Zam were from the same planet as Velo. Didn't Velo enlist Oxide because he went against Crash once before and he gave him minions to balance out the teams?

He's not necessarily more evil, but he has done bad things, like betraying not even his old allies, like in Crash Nitro Kart he worked for Velo which indirectly meant that he was working against N. Tropy and Uka Uka.

Originally I preferred Ami. When they were reintroduced in Nitro Fueled I preferred the rest over her as a character.
I wound up using Ami the most though, unfortunately, since I rarely use characters outside of the speed class...
Ami _is_ kinda bland compared to the other squad girls. Her design, voice and quotes are just really forgettable. I bet way more people would’ve played Liz over Ami if she was also a speed character.
Id say Ami's problem is the fact they made her a tough girl character with less sex appeal. Part of the thing that made her such a cool character is that all the Trophy Girls were models who just were there as eye candy and she was the one who decided to break that mold and be a driver. That and i miss her cute haircut.

Zam and Zem are, in my personal opinion, the worst characters in the entire franchise, and I apologize for that because I don't want to be unrespectful to people who love them and played as him even in the original CNK. Sure, they are better in Nitro-Fueled, Beenox made an amazing job in recreating them and explaining their role as Oxide's minions. They actually could have a role in a new Crash game if Oxide will be involved too, but I still don't like them.
All they do really is just burp. Top notch character design! smh. Honestly, I prefer N Trance over them because he's way cooler and I love his egg puns. Aside from the fact that I think Zem and Zam stink, I would like to see them, and N Trance in more Crash games. I personally love N Trance and some people do like Zem and Zam also.

Cant have a favorite because Nitro Fueled is a pointless garbage. We have great tools to make games yet many make cashgrab garbage that a certain number of naive ... buy into while the community who actually can and want to make games is being banned from making anything due to legal reasons. Companies make a proper actual game or don't make anything at all, simple as that. It's quite ironic and ignorant how some devs of this game publicly bashed that Crash campaign in the Skylanders game even tho that had far more effort put into then this mess.
