I have this cart without the remote control and absolutely love it. If you play a course that is fairly flat, or don’t mind walking with the cart, the remote is more of a luxury than a necessity. The non-remote model is about $300 cheaper and has a start/stop button, along with a speed control knob, on the back of the handle. At age 75 this cart will extend my ability to walk the course for many years. I’ve played the game for 60+ years and this the best golf investment I’ve ever made. Mark and Dick at Cart Tek are great to work with and their trolleys have my highest recommendation. By the way, Matt, there is a seat option available for the cart you have. Cheers!

I would think it better if it had an RF tracker, and tracked a fob on your hip, vs. steering it all day... Cool -- thanks for the review, and glad you enjoyed it!

I'm french I have the same caddy since 2 years. Two things about that. First keep it around 10 to 15 yards around you as the remote didn't work over 30 yards. Second thing the speed has to be the same as yours all around the course so in case of wrong trajectory you can grab it and put it in the right direction. Last it exits a seat in option (around 150 $) wich is cool in case of waiting to start or whatever. But it is a good deal...A lot of my golf mates ask for some informations about it considering that I bought it for 700$ to smart caddy in england...

I own a Stewart X Series Remote Trolley, its built like a 'Tank' in other words built to last, no ugly flimsey frames, or cheap looking plastic wheels, the Stewart has alloy. Repair/Spares backup, 5*, they dont leave you in the lurch once you join the family. About the same price too.

Pros don't carry their bags for a reason. Any electric push cart like this is well worth it if you want to be a scratch player. Play like a Pro to play like a Pro.
If you already have a push cart. Check out the V2 eWheels. That's what I'm getting this year.

To be honest, I've been away from golf for over 20 years (I'm 36 now). Never had the motivation to get back into this sport. I've been following the pros and tours, but never got me engaged before. Then I found your channel a few months back (3 to be more specific) and since I've been motivated to start golfing again. I guess it's your energy and how friendly you make it look like...I know that I will go back to a dark tunnel for a while, but hey...it's all about the grinding...isnt'it? being serious, keep up the good job. I have had this cart since last year and I really like it. The company is excellent to deal with and responded to all of my questions. My only complaint is the price of a spare battery. When I'm on a road trip I would like to have a spare battery but at a price that's equal to 1/3 of the cart it's hard to justify.

    1. The screwdriver for the remote is in the kit. Yo just need to pull the screwdriver shaft out and reverse it. 2. I have one of these and I love it. Carrying a bag is too hard on my knees and this allows me to walk 18 without any issues. $1500 is a lot of money, but its actually inexpensive compared to some of the others out there.

Heard rumors that a major trolley manufacturer is working on a AI-driven system with lidar sensors and a submeter GPS receiver. Autonomous driving and follow me functionality is achieved by connecting the system to the motor controls. In a ‘programming round' you can define parking postitions at each green and tee box and route safe paths around bunkers and hazards on the display. When playing an 'advance function’ drives the trolley to the next parking postition, so e.g. when hitting the green from 160 yards you could take out the putter and press advance and the trolley moves to the position beside or behind the green. From there to the next tee and so on. With the additional remote control one could still pause the autonomous driving when e.g. a playing partner hits his ball. Then just press continue and the trolley advances on its own. Of course one can always steer by hand in uncertain terrain. This is probably the future of electric trolleys.

    ICU, I hit like.
The cart is novel, kind of fun and a cool conversation piece. However if I'm the kind of person who does not use a rangefinder instead I prefer to keep using my estimation skills which will be wrong sometimes, I'm going to carry my bag.

Motocaddy make a far simpler and superior product at half the price and it carries a 2 year warranty. This product is to complicated and so much can go wrong. However it was well presented as usual by Mr short game👍

That is not cheap or a good price for an eletric trolley...
With all those disadvantages with a remote, it sounds like it would be a lot better to just to go with an electric trolley without a remote. Then you will have plenty of better choices for half the price or less. Powakaddy, Motocaddy, etc etc.
Pretty sure you forgot to mention battery capacity? Which is very important for eletric trolleys. I guess it might say something on their web site, but manufacturers have a tendency to not be trustworthy with these things... So when doing a review this should definately be one of the things to check.

The level of specialists L1 Technologies is very low, it is not clear how bushnell golf(GPS devices EXEL, ION2, Phantom GPS, App), motocaddy(GPS App , GPS Trolley and GPS Sensor Trolley 2020),TecTecTec (UlTG), Powakaddy (GPS devices and App) and the Yamaha(Yamatrack, YTX, GPS Devices for control Golfcart AC and Gas versions) were order development of devices and mobile applications from them. Developers are engaged in theft and copying of branded electrical and GPS devices while presenting the development as their own. Also, the main boss turns out to be violates for women as evidenced by several lawsuits from women against him in the USA! I will not advise this disgusting company.
They periodically open a new company, probably to make a rebranding, since there are no orders at all, the last company was opened under the name Pixels Matter LLC, which is essentially the same as L1 Technologies.
