Because the scene where Kurov injures Rambo with his grenade launcher (or rather a metal bar does caused by the explosion) was cut in german TV, I always assumed that Rambo got injured just before he dropped into the sewers tunnel (he also checks for his bleeding there the first time - he was running around very fine before that). Only in later versions that I saw I saw what actually was intended to be shown. Goes to show that censorship can change the meaning of scenes quite significantly.

For me probably the best Action franchise ever. I remember the discussions I had with my father about Rambo movies being american propaganda and all that stuff. In February 2022 Russian Forces invaded another country, raping and murdering civilians, behaving worse than animals........no american screenplay author had to create that scenario, it is fucking real. So, way to go, John! You were always right.
Meanwhile the Americans killed there own formal ally's in a sensless war in Afghanistan after one of their puppets went rogue and destroyed the twin towers.
Plot Hole - When Rambo sneaks into the prison to rescue Trautman and he gets to him, Trautman and Rambo speak very quietly to avoid attracting attention of their escape. All hell break loose when a guard walks in on him after Rambo gets spooked by the kid rebel. The plot is that shortly after all hell break loose, the explosive charges denonate. This al takes place in less than a minute. The plot hole is bad timing. Rambo and the Rebel set the charges. I don't think Rambo knew that when got to Trautman, he had less than a minute before all the explosive went off. The Timing of the explosives is too convenient due to the fact that the guard had already walked in on them unexceptedly alerting their escape. Was Rambo really exspecting to get out there with Trautman undetected? Apparently not!

Rambo 3 doesn't get enough credit, 2 is my personal favorite but 3 had the most impressive action scenes.
Rambo 3, best so far from the series. Move had everything powerful back ground score , pure action with no special effects used.
Don't really understand why the critics hated it.
First Blood is by far the best in the series, but this movie is damn good.

when rambo uses his infiltration techniques we get a great epic battle vs rovietic commando great action scenes good soundtrack
