Mike’s backing in this song does not get enough praise. It’s a bit Sid Vicious (yes he had very little talent but listen to Live at Longhorns and his backing). I watched this live on the night and remember being disappointed it wasn’t Basket Case. I was so young and stupid.

@creamscreechYep. There were 5 guitars used on the nimrod tour. Original Blue, the blue Fender in this video, the black initialed blue Fernandes seen at the HMV Alley gig, and a Pink Fender Strat. One guitar for E standard and another for E flat tuning, plus a backup for each. The 5th guitar was a black Fender Strat played by Billie’s guitar tech during King For a Day and Platypus, tuned to E standard. The guitar in this video is the same one in The Punk Rock Museum.

You can tell Billie was drinking a lot here. It always bugged me that they didn't harmonize the chorus. I wonder if Mike didn't feel comfortable playing and singing that part. It sounds bad though.
They are still a great band, but the 90's was their golden era. Getting out to see them during the Nimrod Tour in small/medium sized venues back then was something really special, I can tell you.
