  • After a really long journey from freezing Delhi we arrived in a city that we would not have suspected to be so amazing: Nagpur. We are blooming again and are very happy to have arrived back in the tropical part of India where it is not cold and not yet too hot with a perfect climate. It also so happens to be the exact geographical center of India. But not only that, Nagpur is a surprisingly relaxed, modern and laidback city with a nice metro and lots of delicious foods including all that has to do with oranges - Nagpur being the Orange City of India. But let´s start with the videos.
    #orangecitynagpur #foreignersinindia #indiatourism

Delhi is an extremely historic place. It has been a centre of power of major empires for the longest duration. It was first established as an imperial capital around 3,500 years ago- as a capital of the Kuru Dynasty. Today, you can see multiple imperial capital cities scattered all over Delhi- each built by a different dynasty over centuries. Delhi has served as the capital of native Hindu Rajputs, of foreign Muslim Turkic, Afghan and Mongol dynasties that invaded and settled in India, and of British India before continuing to serve as the power centre of modern-day India. It is a city rebuilt at-least 12 times over the course of its history. Delhi is to much of the Indian Subcontinent what Rome is to much of Europe. Hindi/ Urdu- the most prominent native lingua franca of the Indian Subcontinent- originated in Delhi, as did many other cultural stuffs, including the qawwali style of Indian Classical Music.
So yea, Delhi is an extremely rich place to tour, especially for history buffs, because there simply is a lot of history here. You just have to be here at the right time. The best months for touring Delhi are October, November, February and March. Considering that November is super-smoggy here, the best time to tour Delhi is actually February and March. This is Spring season in Delhi and the weather is at its best- it is extremely pleasant. So, you can try to be back in Delhi by mid-February and you'll hopefully relish the Delhi weather then. And if you love history of power and empires, Delhi is the city you will not want to miss at all!

@@yvesthesleeve something which is offered to God should be "pure" , it should not be eaten/smelled by us . If you purchase fruits or flowers for yourself, you can smell to check whether ripe or good fragrance. Custom of thousands of years old. It is like offering the best possible thing to God. But in this century, as people become "modern", people go to temple for selfies. Compare it with wine offered to God in church, I don't think you would taste it before offering to God, though I don't know much about Customs of Christianity. For similar reason, shoes are not allowed in temples as they are made from animal hides after slaughtering and somewhat connected to Gandhian and Buddha's principles of non violence and hence many Indians don't consume meat or egg, they consider "impure" . But if you come to eastern India, meat is served in temples. As a religion , it is very lenient. These customs are generally followed in temples of Hindus, Buddhists , Jains and Sikhs.

Nice to see that you settled yourself after long horrible train ride. Although Nagpur is a mediocrity, but it hast the 3rd most corrupt municipal corporation in Maharashtra after Mumbai and Pune. It is also badly known as the centre of Hindutva venom laboratory and headquarters of organisation called RSS that spreds hate across the country.

Dude, are you still blabbering/complaining about your so called 'disastrous' journey?! So much for the entitled 'whities' that you love to remind viewers about from time to time. Ironic.

@@yvesthesleeve Why do you think your views are down? Your wife and 3 very young kids depend on you for a living. Less views means less youtube income to you. It is not good. No?
