- After a really long journey from freezing Delhi we arrived in a city that we would not have suspected to be so amazing: Nagpur. We are blooming again and are very happy to have arrived back in the tropical part of India where it is not cold and not yet too hot with a perfect climate. It also so happens to be the exact geographical center of India. But not only that, Nagpur is a surprisingly relaxed, modern and laidback city with a nice metro and lots of delicious foods including all that has to do with oranges - Nagpur being the Orange City of India. But let´s start with the videos.

Great that you and family are happy to be in Nagpur, the center of India. Glad to see all are wearing just a tshirt, no longer double/triple layers of clothes 😄 Breakfast looks yum, yum but l feel it's a bit unpleasant to eat pula with a small card. Anyway, all are enjoying the food 👍👍
Haha yes, we are so happy to be here, and that pula is so excellent, we do not even mind that card 😀
@@yvesthesleeveIt is Poha
Aah didn't know about that zero mile good information
Cheers mate
Green chutney all green chutneys are always amongst the combination of green chilly, coriander leaves n mint leaves...just the quantity of ingredients differs as per taste and some times coconut or little sugar might be added to
The region is called Vidharba. The main language is Marathi, but they speak some Hindi because they were former part of Central-Provinces whos lingua-franca was Hindi.
I noticed many people here speak Hindi

I visited their center during my childhood, and my experience was truly wonderful. It is a very spiritual place. You should visit Mount Abu next time!
That sounds great, very interesting, we passed by Mount Abu on the way to Pushkar
Simple straightforward question..so far, all in all do you like south india or north India more?
Also pls come back to south India!
All in all definitely more the South India kind of guy.

Delhi is an extremely historic place. It has been a centre of power of major empires for the longest duration. It was first established as an imperial capital around 3,500 years ago- as a capital of the Kuru Dynasty. Today, you can see multiple imperial capital cities scattered all over Delhi- each built by a different dynasty over centuries. Delhi has served as the capital of native Hindu Rajputs, of foreign Muslim Turkic, Afghan and Mongol dynasties that invaded and settled in India, and of British India before continuing to serve as the power centre of modern-day India. It is a city rebuilt at-least 12 times over the course of its history. Delhi is to much of the Indian Subcontinent what Rome is to much of Europe. Hindi/ Urdu- the most prominent native lingua franca of the Indian Subcontinent- originated in Delhi, as did many other cultural stuffs, including the qawwali style of Indian Classical Music.
So yea, Delhi is an extremely rich place to tour, especially for history buffs, because there simply is a lot of history here. You just have to be here at the right time. The best months for touring Delhi are October, November, February and March. Considering that November is super-smoggy here, the best time to tour Delhi is actually February and March. This is Spring season in Delhi and the weather is at its best- it is extremely pleasant. So, you can try to be back in Delhi by mid-February and you'll hopefully relish the Delhi weather then. And if you love history of power and empires, Delhi is the city you will not want to miss at all!
Well, we will probably return one day
Please visit northeast part of india , the untouched part of india ❤
Nagpur is also the place where Indian Gold Reserves are kept. Nagpur Gold vault has more than 800 Tons of Gold in it. Its the equivalent of Fort Knox in the US.
That is interesting to hear
Actually the poha guy asked you only if you wanted onions...they were not for the other guy...you missed getting the fresh onions :)
Ah okay, well, it was still absolutely amazing
That's Modi no 3 where uh stayed that's a hell of a busy market area!
Duly noted
Love the Nagpur's poha dish, always the best. However, sometimes I don't like eating curry leaves so I take them out😂 some people don't like peanuts so they take them out too. Anyways glad to see you're enjoying new city and liking the street food.
Love it too
Nagpur's food is unique and some delicasies are actually the best as compared to other regions of the country
Try Kozhikode, you might like it there....warm and by the ocean as well...
Sounds great! But not sure if we will go all the way down there...
Thank you very much for bringing us along in that walk about, showing that big flowers market. It's always nice to see your interactions with the locals and students. Great job, Mr. Moonshine. See all of you again in the next video. Good day to all.

It is advisable not to smell flowers or fruits meant for temple. Just a custom we follow religiously. But no problem, people from other countries don't know our customs.
I did not know that. Why is that?
@@yvesthesleeve something which is offered to God should be "pure" , it should not be eaten/smelled by us . If you purchase fruits or flowers for yourself, you can smell to check whether ripe or good fragrance. Custom of thousands of years old. It is like offering the best possible thing to God. But in this century, as people become "modern", people go to temple for selfies. Compare it with wine offered to God in church, I don't think you would taste it before offering to God, though I don't know much about Customs of Christianity. For similar reason, shoes are not allowed in temples as they are made from animal hides after slaughtering and somewhat connected to Gandhian and Buddha's principles of non violence and hence many Indians don't consume meat or egg, they consider "impure" . But if you come to eastern India, meat is served in temples. As a religion , it is very lenient. These customs are generally followed in temples of Hindus, Buddhists , Jains and Sikhs.
Eating with a card piece,so strange, never seen this before 😢
Same here

Thanks mate
I feel sorry for your kids; for your ambitions they have to keep traveling from one place to another; without proper home or friends. Must be exhausting for them.
What a rude person, do you think you know ANYTHING better than me? You don't give me advice on how to raise my kids, while you let yours be brainwashed at school. Show some dignity!
What about when small childrens force to do namaaz five times a day😅😅😅
Dude !! Just bcoz u feel sorry doesnt feel same to others...
I have different perceptive the kids r lucky they got chance to see different culture and country with their parents ...Kids should not be in closed walls of school or have limited friends ...they should know how to be in different conditions thats survival ....Travelling gives best lesson for everyone ....so next time be polite ...have some courtesy of Respect ....
Come on now.. don't get into other people's business. If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. The kids are healthy and happy . That's the only thing matters.
And what happens to the kids in Madrasa.
Nice to see that you settled yourself after long horrible train ride. Although Nagpur is a mediocrity, but it hast the 3rd most corrupt municipal corporation in Maharashtra after Mumbai and Pune. It is also badly known as the centre of Hindutva venom laboratory and headquarters of organisation called RSS that spreds hate across the country.
Oh wow, can't feel any of that here though, I do feel it pretty relaxed
Visit the RSS headquarters ...I love it for the organisation
Dude, are you still blabbering/complaining about your so called 'disastrous' journey?! So much for the entitled 'whities' that you love to remind viewers about from time to time. Ironic.
It was a disastrous journey, you must be from india not to think so.
