- This is our first food tour in Chittagong (Chattogram), Bangladesh. And I can tell you things were not like we excepted. Which is not a bad thing, it is a good one. I must say it is not the food tour with the most proteins, but rather a sweet one, but what the heck, I am not complaining. This is something that we want to experience as well, all the nice local foods that we tried tasted amazing I can tell you that. But before I tell you too much, please just watch the whole video to the end and give me a like and a comment and maybe share the video with your friends and family.
#chittagong #banglafood #bangladesh
Please don't skip the adds as this is what keeps us running, give the video a like and maybe even a comment if it is not too much to ask for as it then will be more present in todays RUclips algorithm.

Love it too
Thanks Man
Your really good man love from Bangladesh ❤️❤️💕💕
Send me live location link if you are Indian Just now 😂😂
@@rsrfiance3931 As a Indian. I agree we are Rendian Rendi and we are far behind from Bangladesh.
Your children would be fittest to live anywhere, the way you guys bring them up is so amazing.. may allah bless them
Thanks so much 😊
Ameen
100% right. They can eat anywhere and survive 🌹❤️
Brother, you should go to Mezban restaurant. Most recommended
They can't bear the spice. Not recommended at all
sure will
We are used to the food in Thailand and Sri Lanka - much more spicy than the foods in Bangladesh
@@yvesthesleeve bro Chittagong has different level of spice than other part of Bangladesh, i am from jashore even sometimes i suffer eating their curry. Although i don't know about Thailand and sri Lanka's spice level. But i don't suggest mejban for your children's. You guys can have them.
@sheikhfaik4440 I think their children are more spice tolerant than an average white child. They have travelled the world so they are more open minded
But yes, its spicy for many Bangladeshis.
As a Dhaka resident, I visited Cox's Bazar but now you're making me want to visit Chittagong. The way you present your videos are brilliant! You represent my country wonderfully and honestly to the whole world.
If your next destination is Cox's Bazar, I recommend you to not only enjoy the main part of it, but to also go to the least touristic areas so you can see the clean beach with very few people and appreciate its beauty. The new part of Cox's Bazar is called Marine Road, you can see the sunset and the sunrise! I also visited your country Switzerland, it was breathtaking and amazing.
Safe travels to you sir!
I gave this video a thumbs up (like) when your son became the main atraction saying this food was "disgusting" - he is so cute. The hallwa, you should eat it like you did, or with Paratha... Stay safe my friend...
He’s a funny kid 😊
Thanks!
cheers mate, it is greatly appreciated

Thank you for visiting my city, and thanks for having snacks at our family owned restaurant at the end. Mohammedia Hotel and Restaurant it's located at Reazuddin Bazaar, it's owned by our family for almost 3 generations now. Thanks again and May Allah bless you and your family.
Many thanks, what a great restaurant
@yvesthesleeve
If you're still roaming in Chittagong and want to visit some amazing places please don't hesitate to ask me I can suggest you some sites. You and your family might enjoy them.

9:00 probably one of the biggest compliments for Bangladesh. They are the GOATS when it comes to textiles / clothing production.
I think so
Your videos are very raw and authentic. No fancy stuff just the original side of a country. Such content is appreciative. The place you started your journey in the video is Jubilee Road, from there you have eventually reached the area called Reazuddin Bazaar, as you've guessed it right here you get clothes, food items, electronics and any other stuff but in a cheaper rate as there's no extra bucks to charge as VAT. All in all, it's really satisfying to see my city from your POV. I know you would find your way in this beautiful and explore our culture more which will be different than conventional. Enjoy your trip.
Thanks so much! We love that city!
Oh gosh, there are lots of rickshaws around. Guess they are the main transportation there. Anyway, that's a great walkabout and stopping for snacks and foods along the journey. Many thanks for showing us the city of Chittagong. Have a good Sunday, Sir and family.
Thanks! Rickshaws are a great way to get around!
@@yvesthesleeve Okay 👍
Nice vlog, it was more like a food vlog.👍
I have been loving to see your younger son. He is so cute and energetic. ❤🇧🇩
12:53 - don't be surprised .... Chittagong is the second largest city in Bangladesh
Loved your youngest son's expression of enjoyment while having the same food which he thought was disgusting. 😊 Did not see him talking much on other videos but what a beautiful family you have. Salute to your wife how she manages kids while walking on busy roads. Enjoy your time 😄 in Bangladesh and can't wait to see your next video. Must be visiting the world's longest beach Cox's Bazar plus Inani beach. Have a blessed and beautiful time in Bangladesh.
Thank you so much 😊
Wow, what an amazing family! God bless you all, brother.
The little one is so adorable like he wants all the food for himself. Do not get me wrong they all are equally adorable
Thanks mate
Chittagong as a city came into existence as Islamabad. It was changed to Chattagram and it's Anglicised name Chittagong after British invasion. There's also a colloquial name Chatgaon.
I heard this the first time during the shooting of this video. Very interesting. Yet, we even passed another Islamabad on the way down to Cox Bazar...
I love seeing how you are raising your kids.. they are enjoying different food culture from different countries.. very impressive!! We should learn from you..
It's so wonderful to see your son enjoying every bite! God bless!
Masha'allah may you and your family be protected from evil eye. You're setting an example of how people should not fear travel / adventure. All my life i've been told not to visit places because of fear of a lack of safety and many years have just gone by with me sitting idle and not leaving my comfort zone.
Welcome to Chittagong, Most beautiful city of Bangladesh 🇧🇩, entire Bangladeshi economy depends on this city.❤
ah yes? I did not know
Yeah stop exaggerating now
Please visit cox's bazar
Its a port area so it has some importance but the whole economy doesn’t depend on this city Don't exaggerate things
🤨🤨🤨🤨🤔🤔 what do you mean man?
You can go Sylhet district, Rangamati district, Bandarban district, Khagrachhari District...
In this district they have many natural beauties....
You and your family can enjoy the scenario of natural beauty in their.... Also I want you to go Sundarbans.... The largest mangrove forest in the world...

When the little one says “Allow me” I really like that
I am a native of Bangladesh but would not dare to do many things you did. I truly appreciate your courage and curiosity. It's a beautiful interesting country to visit. Enjoy!
welcome Chittagong. there is also most popular and beautiful spaces like patenga sea. Bhatiyari golf, ship breaking yard
And it's also pretty cool how you're slowly getting used to traditional food! Just like welcoming the country's warm welcome and throwing yourself into it❤
Brother, Chittagong is an industrial area. You will find a lot of business people. There are also a lot of travelling places. Faysal lake a beautiful place and patenga.
Little Dillion so cute and hilarious ❤. God Bless him and you all👏👍😊
"Monglai Porota" is always been made with eggs not anything else.
The thing that you ate in jessor is called Patis. It looks like similar (outside) with monglai Porota but it's made with beef or chicken.
By the way, thank you for exploring my country Bangladesh ❤❤.
Assalamualaikum. Very nice video ❤❤❤❤❤❤👍
I grew up in Chittagong in the 80s. Seeing you there - walking the streets brings back 40 year old memories! I wish to meet you in the streets of Dhaka
It is awesome to hear you little one. Because he was little bit shy from begaining.
Cheers mate
After completing Chittagong you can visit one of the best tourist district Sylhet

Welcome Chittagong ❤️❤️❤️👌lots of love... Chittagong has many beautiful places...please visit those places and enjoy❤️❤️❤️🔥😊
Wooow.. I am very happy to see you my childhood place.. Enjoy your time and enjoy Chittagong food..
The places you showed here are one of the most busiest and oldest parts of Chattogram. No wonder it was so crowded.
That clothes market you walked through was the "Zohur Hawkers market" which is one of the largest clothing market in Chattogram and is actually very famous locally.
Inside the city there actually isn't much scenic places. It's the 2nd most major city after all.
You are more local thn our local food vloggers. 😁😁😁
The traditional Mughlai paratha consists of whisked egg, chopped onion, green chilli and coriander as stuffing and deep fried. But some places with egg and other stuff, you can get minced/shredded chicken as well which is called chicken mughlai paratha. Mughlai paratha goes really well with beef sheekh kabab (charcoal grilled diced beef in the skewers) and regular bangladeshi green salad.
Walaikum asslam and allah bless you and your family members are welcome on my screen 😊brother love ❤from 🇮🇳india.
It is really amazing how you introduce us to Bangladesh! Especially the vibrancy of this historic place today is very interesting😊☺️
"Swiss Family, welcome to Bangladesh! I have watched your videos, seen your movements, and how you interact with the people of Bangladesh. It's great to see you touring Bangladesh as a tourist. You are experiencing the country in a very positive way, and it is blending very well with the essence of Bangladesh. You have a lot in common with the Bangladeshis, and I would like to request you to consider living in Bangladesh permanently. I hope you travel more around different places in Bangladesh, as we really appreciate it. You should interact more with the people of Bangladesh and get to know the country’s various customs, culture, and way of life. Your personality aligns so well with the nature and character of Bangladeshis, and because of this, Bangladeshis are increasingly fond of you."

I think you love Bangladeshi food so much and enjoying the food
It was written, The Famous Mohammadia Hotel(Restaurant). Your youngest son is really sweet. The way he said Disgusting was kinda positive word for me. Adorable!
Sir please stay forever Bangladesh ❤😊
Nice 👍 vlog delicious food anjoy your journey

The Building with the plastic statue is the Theater Institute of Chittagong. The next White Building is the Muslim Hall and Library. It is renovating. the old hall was demolished. Opposite of the hall is Sahid Minar of Chittagong. Next, the Bazar/Market you have visited is Reazuddin Bazar. One of the Biggest Bazar in Chittagong for Various wholesale and retail shops. You will be literally lost if enter more inside the market 1st time. It might feel like a maze. As there are so many alleys. It is difficult for newcomers to identify which alley they have used to enter the market. Hope you have enjoyed exploring those places.
😀
Mughlai Paratha is always with the Eggs. Some restaurant may have their own experimental version with beef keeems, however it's very unlikely.
Anyway, Please visit the northern part also like Rajshahi.
I suggest you to visit
1. Natore Palace
2. Puthia Palace and
3. Padma River
you can visit the rural areas there in Rajshahi
Brother here is an advice as a Bangladeshi Chittagong civilian, Please take care of your kids because some place of Chittagong isn't very safe and may have high crime rates, Have a nice day enjoy our country ❤🇧🇩
God have good eyes on Bangladesh. Bangladesh market more more food❤❤❤❤❤❤
Happy to see you with your family❤ enjoy every moments here❤
Love from Chittagoang 💞
I was quite surprised seeing you roam through the streets of wholesale markets of Chittagong. Moghlai/Muglai parata have many "interpretations" - some serve with egg only. Others add ground beef or diced chicken. With every extra protein, they charge you more, the most basic & cheapest being eggs. Dylan stole the show today,"It's disgusting Daddy!" & yet he kept asking for it later 😁 Please post more of such "sweet treats". You are hitting the numbers now 👍
I am a Bangladeshi.
I ❤❤❤❤ your all video very much.
Thank you so much 😀
আপনার ভিডিও গুলো অনেক সুন্দর আর বাংলাদেশকে রিপ্রেজেন্ট করার জন্য আপনাকে অনেক ধন্যবাদ
I like very much your lovely kid's eating style. May Allah long live them.❤👍🇧🇩.
You went to a very busy road..i wish i could guide you
Be careful to saint martin, bandar baan or any hill's area. If you ever want to visit there ensure safety and and proper guidelines and take with you trusted guide. There's quite robbers and you can be in danger so be careful.
Omg I’m so addicted to your videos 😂. Love the way you taste our Bangladeshi food. Your kids are so cute and sweet ❤❤❤. The little one said disgusting but then couldn’t stop eating 😂. Bless you all. ❤️❤️❤️
Chittagong is such a crowded place but interesting 😊
Take love bro frome Bangladesh ❤❤❤
25:21 your little son "Dilan" is so cute & lovable ❤️
He has great sense of humour and cheeky too 😃
Didn't know he can speak so much, this is the first time we are hearing him. You should show his opinions about foods more.
Fun Fact: The Name Mughlai Paratha came from the Mughals Empire. You can translate it as Royal Paratha.
Semolina halwa, parata & milk, khwaja - all the sweets in the video could not stand up to Dylan's sweetness ❤
I bet you guys enjoying the Bangladesh Journey😊
"That's disgusting bad/dad." That little cute one😀
😂😂😂😂😂
Bla,bla,bla,bla,bla,bla........bla.......hehehehe lol😂
Wow so amazing place
Mughlai porata is always made with eggs in Bangladesh. The one made with beef/chicken is called "Keema porata".
alright thanks
No dear,a good mughlai parata must have beef keema (thickly minced fried/boiled granular beef mainly of extra parts like intestine, vocal, respiratory tracts, lungs, livers, kidneys, some meat too etc) with the must item egg for sure! And of course, the rich posh famous restaurants hotels use only pure solid beef keema(fried or boiled granular minced beef) with egg!
You can visit some beautiful places in ctg, like CRB, Jilapi pahar, potenga beach, kaptai, vatiary etc
Hi, really love that you are exploring the real Bangladesh with your family! I think you missed Liberty Faluda on the upper floor of new market. It’s a ctg classic. Also check out Royal Hut at the Stadium for sheekh kebab and grilled chicken, any Bonoful shop for bakorkhani, mezzan hailey ayun for ctg classic beef curry, jilapi at Candy in Central Plaza and fuchka/chotpoti inside central plaza, and bela biskut in Gani bakery. Hope you enjoy!!

I’m a big fan of your experience in Bangladesh, I have been living in the USA since 1981, I’m am from Bangladesh. I was visiting my country last year. I couldn’t eat any of the street food or try any holes in the walls type of restaurant, my local family didn’t let me try. They said I would be sick for weeks. I am wondering if you got sick by eating those foods? By the way, you and your family are awesome. You and your partner are very down to earth and humble. Good luck!
Dylan is so cute. I liked the way he expressed himself "that's disgusting baaa...." 😄

Mughlai PARATA is something with Minced Beef or Chicken accumulated with EGG onion green chilies as a filler which one is expensive thats why regular restaurant they dont use miced Meat as a filler only EGGs and onion green chilies, coriander and some spices and wrap with Flour then deep fry and serve with chutney or Sauce.
