@@liamhen me too! I always wanted an Aunt like Aunt Clara when i was growing up. I grew up watching old sitcoms like this because I was what my Mother and both my Grandmas called 'Old Soul'. I was born in '92.
Amazingly Marion was in her late 70s or early 80s during this time, she looked great for her age. Her and Endora was so funny 😂 this show is pure goodness ❤thanks for uploading these. Classic TV at it finest!
Darrin loved Aunt Clara because she loved him and Samantha. Aunt Clara was never mean to Darrin; she was never like Endora or Serena either. Both of those characters would turn Darrin into something if he insulted them.
I also loved the time when she found out first that Samantha was pregnant and she chuckles a bit and says "... that means Endora is going to be a granny...!" Haha.
You can see how they all loved her on and off screen--it comes through. On screen, she was the one relative Darrin liked. Who couldn't love her though?
Marion Lorne was just fabulous in this role. Such a natural. She really portrayed her in such a whimsical and loving way, and I always loved that she was the relative of Samantha’s who always consistently stood by her and Darrin
Aunt Clara was one of the cutest characters I have seen on screen. She was adorable and the warmth between Samantha and her was heartwarming. Aunt Clara could get you out of your blues just like that. She was a delight.

I just realized something. In the first clip Aunt Clara says she landed in the middle of the freeway. There were no freeways in the tri state area (east coast) back in the 1960s. It's obvious the writers lived in California.
Oh yes they were but relatively new.The interstate highway system was officially instituted in 1959 but several roadways still under construction. But I-95 in Southern CT where the show was set was finished by 1960 so it was quite accurate.
The sweetest moments of Aunt Clara...isn't that sort of redundant? I mean, Aunt Clara was such a dear, a sweetheart, the aunt everyone wishes they had, and she never had a mean scene in the series. Well, unless you count the time she wound up with Endora's powers and wasn't too keen on relinquishing them.
Is aunt Bertha and aunt Hagatha the same character or different persons? I would like to think their the same. Many people goes by with more than one name.

If she saw something around her home that needed painting, she'd grab paint and a brush and go paint it. Not high up, probably, but patio furniture or other things. How many of us have done that? I have.
