അമലയിലെ അണുബാധ നിയന്ത്രണ വാരാചരണത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ചു വൈദ്യ ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു പ്രധാനസംഭവം കോളറ രോഗം വായുവിലൂടെയല്ല വെള്ളത്തിലൂടെയാണ് പകരുന്നതെന്ന് കണ്ടുപിടിച്ച ജോൺ സ്നോയുടെ ജീവിത കഥ അമല കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങൾ നാടകമായി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. നാടകത്തിൻ്റെ മറ്റൊരു പ്രത്യേകത ഇതൊരു “ ഹൈബ്രിഡ് “ നാടകമായിരുന്നുവെന്നുള്ളതാണ്. നാൽപതോളം സ്റ്റാഫ് അംഗങ്ങൾ അരങ്ങിലും അണിയറയിലും പങ്കുചേർന്നു. കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി മെഡിസിൻ വിഭാഗം ഡോ. ജോസ് വിൻസൻ്റ് തയ്യാറാക്കിയ തിരക്കഥ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത്, മെഡിക്കൽ സോഷ്യൽ വർക്കർ വരുൺ ജോർജ് എ , ഡോ. ആൻ്റണി കള്ളിയത്ത്, ഡോ ജോസ് വിൻസെൻ്റ് എന്നിവർ ചേർന്നാണ്.
