Anakin is obviously one of the greatest Jedi’s ever and his reckless plans always work for the most part. But I sometimes wonder how this man even survived before Ahsoka came along to watch his back and save his life over and over 😂😂😂
so most likely he would have been the troublesome padiwan when he's younger, and as he matured he would be the one saving obi-wan from his hairbrained schemes
I remember watching the Clone Wars movie when I was in high school, and I related my little sister to Ahsoka because they had the exact same personalities. Now I watch this and I think of how proud I am with my sister, running her own startup at 22, and I cannot help but draw the same comparison for her now with this iteration of Ahsoka. I’m always cheering for you, Snips.
Two things about this are priceless: R2 casually slamming the S-foil on the one Buzz Droid, and the Buzz Droids on the bottom realizing they're screwed
Man, stuff like those facial expressions and such really make the animations seem much more fluid and human. Miss this show; part of me wishes they focused on the larger battles like they did in the first season. Hopefully it won't be long before Rebels achieves the same level of animation.
R2-D2 is one of the unsung heroes of Star Wars. He saves the MCs so many times and he just plays such an important role behind the scenes. It's sweet how Anakin is so protective of him here and in the ROTS movie where he won't let Obi Wan tell jokes about him. He considers R2 a true friend even though he's 'only' a droid. I'd love to see some explanation sometime why he and Vader did not recognize each other later on.

+2000 Watts Eh. Screw the Rebels writers. Ever since Greg Weisman left, the show has gone to garbage. Every episode is unnaturally forced character development or some form of Easter egg for fans. The first season at least had a plot and character development was naturally a part of that. So when you have a structure like this which is beginning to feel like Clone Wars, it really doesn't lend itself well to a core group of characters since it seems like they're trying to force us to like each even though they're only useful for like 20% of the season (even less since their droid even gets character development).

I always wished there was some sort of video recording so Anakin could see how epic Ahsoka was in that moment, it was so amazing and he should be proud :)
Im gonna be honest: the first time i saw this i was a kid and i really thought this scene took longer. I know that i actually shad some tears because i thought it was extremely sad how he died even with his last stand. It just hits different and i always remember about that moment when someone brings up clone wars.

Not really. It doesn’t need an explanation. They’re two different class starfighters and the Jedi adopted the Actis-class later in the war. Just like how real life militaries change their assets over time.
