I love that, unlike many modern Megatrons, this version isn't a once-noble revolutionary gone bad, he's an angry young man with a gun and increasingly questionable ideas about what power is.
Its a very different take on the character, but feels a lot more nuanced and realistic. Him being an angry young man feels very intentionally allegorical to the increasing radicalisation of Gen Z, and I'd be interested in seeing if that actually was the inspiration of his character arc.
