What I’ve learnt as a pawrent to my beautiful Sphynx cat !

- Hello everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past couple of months and how my wonderful Sphynx cat Poppy has changed me.
Many of you will have seen her on the channel and she is truly a ray of sunshine, so here are my reflections on what I’ve been learning as a new Pawrent.

I am so happy for you Nick , yes animals come into our lives for a reason, I truly believe that. I have never been without animals, cats , dogs etc. Maybe because I need to care for someone, something. And maybe that was also what you needed.

She has so many places to snuggle. So cute how she takes herself off to sleep and snuggle !
I love how you've recognised and taken the time to reflect on your relationship with Poppy, it shows you've truly changed and care for her! Cats are so quirky and each cat has their own unique personality, it looks like you've become very in tune with her and her chattiness ❤ (As a p.s., please have a look into using an ISFM cat friendly accredited veterinary practice!)
Thank you, I have definitely taken the time to understand her and was keen for her to tell me how she wasn’t a to live with me rather than forcing my routine into her ! We need to grow together. My vet is absolutely fantastic, very supportive and has other Sphynx cats that she looks after too ☺️☺️
I think you two are a match made in heaven. I’ve said it before, and will say it again, I think your massive love is mutual. She loves you as much as you love her. Thank you for giving Poppy such a wonderful life in every way possible. You’re the best Nick! ❤

I can resonate with you, when i started adopt my ms backy, she brought out emphatic, softness and affection out of me. In my experience, thanks to my cat, my life becomes more positive and somehow it attracts love in my life. After living with my ms backy for 4 yrs, i met my now husband ❤. I believe it would happen to you too ❤

Lovely video! I have had pets before, but Sphynx cats are something special. The level of care and dedication required is no joke, but it is absolutely worth it. You get so attached to them it’s undescribable.
Could not agree more ! They are such a special breed of animal but the requirements are no joke as you say 😂
Animals are such a blessing to us. They give us something that we can’t necessarily get from people. They don’t judge us and love us unconditionally. We owe them the best life we can give them. How lucky is little Poppy to have been adopted by you? I can get attached to animals, babies and people in general very quickly so I’m not surprised that you have so much love for Poppy so soon. They do become your children in that you are responsible for the welfare of this little animal that is solely relying on you for their every need. I’m so happy that things have worked out so well for you.❤️🙏

I want to add that you seem more content and serene. I agree she has softened you. It’s like you are very grounded…in a great and loving way. Content is the word that keeps coming to mind.
That’s fab to hear ! I feel more content and she reminds me that even when things feel tough it’s going to be okay !
I can’t love this video enough ❤ I have 2 cats and I can honestly say, I can’t imagine life without them. I can have the worse day ever and the moment I come home to the little critters, they have a habit of making things ok.

Mine also loves to announce that she's going to the toilet 🙈
After 8 years my life revolves around her and like you my 1st shoppings are always for her 😻 Can't imagine my life without her and can see you feel the same about your beautiful girl 🐈
