I wonder if the Cheerful Carnival problem has something to do with EN players going on JP. Maybe the JP server (not the players or people who run it, just the system itself) knows EN players play it and since the time zones and places are so out of wack that might be why. Other than that, some people find a distaste with Mind Brand getting on PJSK and/or getting a cover, but i think it is wonderful. As an animation meme kid from the mid-late 2010s it brings me joy seeing my old favorite songs on project sekai. I think nightcord is a great pick for the song. Other people would disagree but i think that no other unit would be able to cover it. If the lyrics were more upbeat, maybe WxS or VBS (but sadly, im not much of a VBS fan) I really hope for a Mafuyu cover once the song comes out tho (i just say that cuz im a huge mafuyu fan lmao)
No, it’s certainly not that. I’ve been playing on JP for two years now and Cheerful Carnivals did use to run smoother back when there were less things going on in the game. They’re doing too much with the new UI, improved graphics, etc and their servers just can’t run everything smoothly. Japanese people are also experiencing the lag and disconnect, their response to suspend Cheerful Carnival comes from Japanese players negatively reviewing the app and complaints on social media. There’s always pushback when Nightcord at 25:00 gets a popular song to cover as of late. I’ll wait to listen to the cover but personally I’m still so happy with the amount of songs that get added each month. This game keeps me so excited.

I plan to! I am trying to visit a Round 1 arcade very soon so I can film there and I need to figure out how to game capture my Switch. I used to be able to do it on my old Macbook but the old Elgato capture card I have doesn't work with my newer Macbook. 😪
I love this video, I’m a huge pjsk fan! It was nice putting this in the background while I was playing Minecraft, I just wished you had a better mic or just made your voice sound louder and not get over shadowed by other sound effects you used in the video.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! I'll make sure to turn up the mic next time I record a voice over. I left the podcast settings on for this but there's no background music or sound effect when I've recorded podcast episodes. I'll make sure to adjust for these videos! Thank you for the feedback.

Yes, it will be Colorfes Bloom Festival. They’re making it seem like it’ll these cards will be different from past Colorfes cards in terms of skills and upgrading. We’ll see the reality in a few days when the banner is out.
No, this has been going on for months. They also canceled Cheerful Carnival earlier this year to fix the issues. They downgraded their server because according to them it worked better, and the issues got worse. 🥲
No, they don’t announce release dates for the song. They just released the Wonderlands x Showtime cover, so I’m guessing we may get after the Vivid BAD SQUAD commissioned song gets released.
i mean it depends on what your buying i got a an plushie at 7 dollars and two mizuki plushies, one was at 13 dollars and the other one whas at 28 dollars
it also depends wich character, example: mmj and leoni normally ar not that expensive, wandashow and vbs ar eh not that expensive but not cheap but niigo ar expensive asf especially mizuki.
I’m disappointed in the two commissions being repeat producers sans Teddyloid.I hope this doesn’t mean they are giving up on hiring new producers and just repeating old ones. There’s still so many talented producers who haven’t been commissioned yet!
I hope that’s not the case. I know they still have their academy for up and coming producers, it would be cool to see a commission song go to one of those producers. I’m still waiting for them to commission an international producer for a song featuring the voice actors.
it kinda sucks they actually picked a song with ai art…. when the other winner was all drawn and all done by the producer 😭 and mind brand should have not been covered….. i think i quit the game tbh
Which one was the song with ai art? I haven’t seen any backlash about that on Twitter, so I’m curious. As for MARETU’s song being covered, pretty sure the producers are the ones who ultimately give permission on whether a song gets covered or not.
@@MissedComboswithLauraNeuzeth suisei no kuni, the description states "Illustration: AI+マツシタレオ(加筆)" the producer seemed to have made art for the song too, but they should not have used AI at all... this isnt the first time we got a song with ai art either (odorobo, the zundamon, akane and, aoi song). its worse this time because the devs specifically chose this song despite it using AI art i just think its kinda weird to put AI art in your game while having an artist character and it has nothing to do with the producer, its that its very inappropiate and i dont think it should be being covered
Thank you for letting me know! I’m surprised more people weren’t speaking up about this. Hopefully this will be a one-off thing because I would hate for the devs and more vocaloid producers to encourage AI art. It’s so weird for them to support that when that very same AI technology could very well come for their music producing job as well.
