Some people need to understand you can't reveal the secret sauce behind your shop. (even though most of it is you, your creativity, and your personality!!!) I've heard that when artists put do not bend, the post office people will do just that out of spite. Again I think you're doing a great job and I can't wait to set up my January bullet journal. (attempting to do the entire year for the first time ).

Does the shipping label have a tracking number? Can I maybe just write their address by hand and send it that way? Until I start seeing some profit cause I really want to start selling but don’t really understand how the shipping and labels work? Lol

SHOOKEN so this was super hard for me too lol two things that helped : using one of these “name generators” online and let it spit out keywords for you, and also just sitting down with a piece of paper and just writing all keywords that match with your shop/product 🙌🏽🙌🏽

I feel it's sorta weird how someone has to pay for shipping and the label (around 2.50)... when I could just use a stamp and offer free shipping. Does anyone know??
How do you protect your address when shipping orders? I havent open up my Etsy shop yet, and I live with my family I don't want to give out my parents home address so what can I do to prevent that. I know most people use P.O boxes does Etsy have an option for putting that information on the shipments. Also thank you for the video I found it to be helpful with my research.
LittleGameDev hi there! From what I know, all packages need to “return address” just in case they’re damaged or lost in the mail. I highly encourage you to save a bit of $$ and get a PO Box. Even if it’s small and you don’t plan on using it a ton - but I’ve never put my personal address on shipments. Best of luck!!

I never go to the post office to drop off. I do all my packaging/labels from my apt, then drop them off downstairs in my apt mailbox (and/or with the doorman)

For tissue paper I recommend buying in bulk at the dollar store. Unless it comes cheaper wholesale on amazon?

Not a dumb question at all! I ship them with labels since Etsy requires tracking for any order over $10 anyway 🙏🏽🙏🏽 hope that helps!

When I asked the employee at the post office she said it couldn't. That if it has a forever stamp, it needs to be "bendable/foldable"

The weight does matter 👍🏽 it basically had to be a FLAT mailer, and under 1lb
