    True, I consume home-cooked beans almost daily, in addition to other foods, and am doing well.
    However, chilli flakes bring me heartburn, so I opt for either cayenne powder or green chillies

    Thank you, for producing a video that actually mentions the foods thst help burn fat, wheras some people are producing this eminent Drs videos featuring titles which include a certain fruit that will melt body fat yet it is not mentioned in the actual video at all! which I personally feel is offensive to a Dr of such high standard and held in such high regard. So thank you for bringing us quality videos talking to Drs etc who are at the top of their field without feeling the need to entice viewers to watch without using titles that are not mentioned in the actual video contents, I will now follow your videos as I feel confident that I will be receiving all the actual information in the video, Thank you. 😂

    I love beans & eat them with onions. However I always see a weight gain after I eat beans. So everyone is affected differently. I wish Dr Li would have confronted Dr Gundry (another video) about Gundry’s attacks on beans, tomatoes, eggplant.

    In California we have a large population that eats mostly beans, rice, tortilla's and hot sauce. From what I see at construction sites is about 50-70% obesity. So in moderate amounts I would guess beans and hot sauce function the way this is explained but is also very easy to go overboard. Of course the tortilla's and rice may be confounders but one cannot live on beans and peppers alone.

    • @kevinp8108
      @kevinp8108 Год назад +5

      @user-wb5nz8xg9l - I'm from SoCal and I am accustomed to Latin food. One thing you have not mentioned in your observation of 50-70% obesity is the large consumption of fat, lard, and fatty meats that are eaten with beans. Dr. Li does not advocate eating beans with animal fat. Tamales are made of corn meal and large amounts of lard so the corn meal could hold its shape.

    How do they figure out that the brown fat helps get rid of the visceral fat and this activated that etc. Doctors I know can barely treat a cold

    • @barbberg8833
      @barbberg8833 8 месяцев назад +2

      Research brown fat, it’s extremely interesting. When we’re little, we have a lot of it, and then our parents say put on a coat, which is absolutely the wrong thing to do. Little children have a very high metabolism because of the brown fat and therefore really are not cold and don’t need a coat.

    I wouldn't recommend this for everyone. Beans can create a lot of gas. Chili can create ulcers and reak havock on prostate and other organs... It also depends on what type of chili... For example, Thai or cayenne chili isn't so bad as other types.
    Dr. Li says things without differenciating people's blood types, metabolisms, etc.
    We aren't all the same!!
    And the right quantity, is so important too!
    An example : in Turkey one of the daily main dishes is beans in chili tomato sauce. With rice or white bread. Most people are round and fat, there. So how can that be a good diet??

More fruits and veggies can cause a heavy load of genetically manipulated monsanto pesticides what does that do to our digestion?. Is your diet heavy on supplements? you say you eat light, how do you get your protein and nutrients?
