Thank you for telling us we don’t have to go crazy intermittent fasting everyday. And that even three days a week helpful. I hear these other speakers and it’s so hard and so different I know I’d never stick to it.
@@250txc what is considered extreme to one person may not be the same for another. The body easily adjusts and only really reqires a small amount of nutrient dense feeding.
Try fasting for 72 hours once a month. You feel fantastic afterwards and you realise a lot of the time you aren't even hungry, you're just eating because it's a habit and it's addictive.
Those "other speakers" are talking to people who already have issues like diabetes and CKD, who are often obese or morbidly obese. They DO need to do IF daily, or almost daily, and preferably OMAD (One Meal A Day), to lose all that weight, reverse insulin resistance, heal their fatty livers, stop protein leakage in the urine, and restore their metabolic systems. Or fight cancer, if God forbid, they already have that. What this guy said, about skipping 3 meals a week, will do next to nothing for such people.
I started a couple weeks ago. I eat breakfast around ten or eleven. Then I stop eating around 6 or 7 in the evening and only drink herbal teas till the next breakfast.
Most of us will alraedy all of this advice its the implementing it that is hard,i start with good intentions on Monday and by Friday evening im back to my bad habits
@@danielmachado6104 Terrible advice. Do NOT use non-dairy, it is NOT good for you. There is *nothing* wrong with using dairy (unless someone is allergic, or course). The fattier the dairy, the better. Use heavy cream, straight or steamed, in your coffee, it's so high in fat it will not break your fast, and it will greatly help satiate you to get through your fasting periods easily. Good grief, the ignorance in these comments sections is astounding.
I am evidence that you can change your idea about coffee and cream (milk)--I drink espresso now just plain. It takes time. Start simply listening to the voice that says I have to have milk. It doesn't have your best interests at stake-- in fact just the opposite. It's just like using sugar (which feeds cancer) but honey doesn't. Altho I am not advocating using honey, at least use as little as possible. The fruit kingdom is loaded with safe sweets.
@@Jimgearhart3 Regarding your "fruit kingdom" comment, not safe for those with insulin resistance. Regarding cream in coffee, it doesn't spike insulin, and it satiates which helps extend fasting periods, so it is perfectly fine, even beneficial, to have.
Dr William Li Your videos always outstanding, I liked your advice , I feel better and got better for my abdomen less pain if I fallow your videos, thanks again for sharing
I fasted for 3 months. I always eat organic green food. I walk alot. I eat 5 organic eggs daily , I use raw honey. Yesterday I had bloods my chroseterol is now 237. Sugar in my blood is 6. So fasting Diddy anything for me. I thought using raw honey on my coffee and tea is good for me but now my blood sugar being high now I was never use honey anymore.
The bergamot in Earl Grey tea is known for its calming properties. This makes it an excellent sleep aid. However, Earl Grey also contains black tea. So, if you have a low caffeine tolerance, you may want to rethink that sip. Especially just before bed
You mentioned of another tea you consume besides Earl Grey snd I’d like to know what that is please? In fact I wasn’t aware that Earl Grey tea is considered a Green tea. Kindly please advise as I generally only eat nutritional foods that support our organs and I thank you for providing such important knowledge on the various subjects. Sincerely, Mark
Earl Grey is any tea flavoured with oil of bergamot, typically a black tea is used, but Earl Grey green tea is becoming more popular, especially with premium quality tea brands
I heard from Dr. Li that eating Brussel sprouts ( I don't like this veggies but I eat once in a while buy organic) your cancer cell commit suicide. He also said the Organic Black tea with BERGAMOT OIL, is far more better than Green tea. When u consume it, this tea is looking something in ur body to repair, this is my understanding. Eat also ALKALINE foods. Do not use non stick pan or aluminum in cooking it cause cancer. Do not put MSG or AUTOLYZED (food additives ) in your cooking it's highly cancerous, just add sea salt not table salt and black pepper. Take turmeric from Dr Lessman it repair your DNA. God bless you!😊
green Tea Coffe, Olive Oil.. any Oil and Garlic do not work for me. Severe Heart palpitations and AFib specially with Oils and Garlic. 20 Doctors have seen me. No clie yet. Any Ideas? Thanks!
Have you seen a nutritionist? Coffee in the morning at least shouldn't cause afib, just avoid it in the afternoon. More common triggers are alcohol, excessive exercise, dehydration, stress and consuming large meals.
Intermittent fasting is ok sometimes. But each organism is different. Its what you eat, how much you are moving, stress and so on. Not only how much you eat or how many times. Its not black and white.
Dr. Sinclair is finding that when one eats is almost as important, within reason, as what one eats. I suggest you research his ideas. Of course eating good food is important.
Carnivores don't believe we need 'dietary fibre' from fruits and vegetables in our diets. And that we get enough fibre from fish and meets alone. How true can that be in an advanced culture of omnivorous homosapiens? Maybe I should ask this question to Dr. Chafee.
Food industry and I'm old enough to remember when that started pretty much ... Along with that food pyramid.. Couple this BS with the lies of NAM and it is apparent the white-boy will lie to us as often as his lips move.
So only eating once a day? 😟 Not getting enough calories can cause body to go into starvation mode. Very bad for health and heart. Our hearts and bodies need protein to function. Otherwise you will have severe muscle wasting. At least one can do shakes or meal replacement drinks with protein, if choosing to only eat one meal a day. We need a good 2000 to 2500 calories a day to replenish heart, muscles, skin, nerves. Hard to get 2000 calories in one meal. 🛐🛐🐠🐠🙏🙏🍊😺😺
Fasting doesn’t provide any benefits that cannot also be had by a calorie deficit. In actuality, there is more scientific evidence backing the benefits of a calorie deficit than there is for the benefits of fasting. I’m not disputing what he’s saying here, but I’m pointing out that fasting isn’t necessary to achieve the results he’s speaking of. You could simply eat small and regular to achieve the same results
True. If you don't have any issue giving yourself a calorie deficit then you have never had a weight control problem. That's why fasting is useful, because you can keep the same portion size you're accustomed to, but reduce by skipping a meal or eating at times that are best for your digestive process, ie. Heavy meals early in the day, light meals in the afternoon, and little to no food as your wind down so as to not interfere with sleeping. Fasting doesn't work for everyone, but no (effective) diet works for everyone.

Honey is still sugar. It’s just a natural sugar so it’s a better choice than processed white sugar but it should still be used sparingly.
Honey in the old days, was a rare thing, usually found in nature by accident. Not ment to eat everyday.
