OMG!! Love you dude!! I was scrolling one night. About a month ago and I told my husband, Honey you gotta watch this guy he's great and funny!! Instantly he was glued, not easy for him, lol. We couldn't wait for this one to come put. I've been telling Everyone about you and to get your 24k views up there. Thanks for the help and laughter with this! Can't wait til the next one.
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush thanks for the reply!! I came running in the kitchen saying honey HE REPLIED!!!🥳 Just thought I'd show you his first cup... lol, now I gotta find it🤪 to show you. Where are you from?
Hello!!!! I like that you gave him a nose!!! That is the prettiest woodgrain that I have seen to date. BRAVO!!! (I see pic of your other woodgrain and that too, is very pretty. But I am working backwards! Time traveler!) The husband says that when you can close your eyes and "see" what you want to do, then you "know it". This is why I have spent so many hours watching! Gonna have to scoot for a bit. I will be back tonight. Please know how much we appreciate your tutorials!!! Thank you! Blessings and Re Jouir -Darlene
After watching your videos in reverse from newest to oldest. Don't know why? But...I like how you like take after (like a mentor) from Bob Ross! His work was always amazing to me, but his monotone tutorials always got me nodding. You keep more alive and entertaining, but keep him alive throughout your tutorials!👍😜. Great work!!
I’m just starting my journey trying out resin tumblers and your videos have been so helpful! I really want to try this technique out. It’s amazing how wood like it looks. Mind blown 😊
Thanks for sharing a different technique for the wood grain. It looks beautiful. I noticed your turner in the background has bolts by the holes that the wands fit through. I built one using your pattern and love it but I remember you saying that you were still working on a few ideas to keep the wands stable and being able to turn easier. Looks like you came up with something. Mind sharing?
Looks awesome! Good job! Also, was wondering if using two stencils would help with the outline? Like the small stencil goes on first, then spray paint white, then larger stencil over small stencil, then design. Would it leave a uniform border of paint around the small stencil? I don't know, cause I haven't ever done anything like this. Just found your channel and subscribed. Hope you have a great day!
Just starting out in tumblers! Have tons of your videos saved for inspiration. Love your work! Have you tried water based inks? I got some water based ink from CrystaLac on the way and wondering if the process is similar to alcohol inks. Thanks for the great videos! 👍

Yes that would work very well and thanks for subscribing!
Love the wood grain over the camo. Was you camo already epoxied before your white spray paint to start wood grain?
yes, this was part 2 from this video here: ruclips.net/video/Sf0Bmjkhsf0/видео.html
First. Another great vid
Nice

Can I do a dawn wash cup on alcohol ink without epoxying it first?
What did you use to seal the wood grain after you removed the vinyl?
ruclips.net/video/zmAMafOXKv0/видео.html
Have you done a double or peekaboo wood grain?
double?🤔
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush peekaboo woodgrain. Where a lighter woodgrain is below and a darker is on top with a name peeking out.
Would it work if you brushed the soap on?
no, it would be too thin
Do you ever spray a clear coat on the cups
I used to finish them with automotive urethane clear coat before I started using epoxy
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush I am actually looking to get away from epoxy and looking to finish with something I can spray, preferably through an airbrush
What did you put rubbing alcohol in the alcohol ink
Hi! going to try this weekend, got a question for you.... I already have my hydro dipped camo tumbler and have not done anything to it since dipping it. Should I put a layer of epoxy on before spray painting white or does it not matter??
you will have to if you are doing like I did and rubbing parts back off
Which alcohol are you using? Does it have to be the 91%?
less may work, just not as stong
Will denatured alcohol work
Do you have a specific epoxy you use?
