@@DuncanCustomAirbrush while I am not using the template as you created (not into plaids), I revised your template so as to remove the inner "boxes"...I really just needed the outline so the seams would match up. Again, thank you!

Same here, Emily. I started in November, and making them is a little bit addictive. LOL. I’ve been using epoxy, but I have a crystalac tumbler kit on the way. BTW, you definitely came to the best and funniest channel to learn from. Taylor is my favorite!

I love the hacks! I'm all about the easy way to accomplish things. I do have a question, though. What does using the etching primer instead of, say, just the flat or mat white add to your base coat? Thank you again for a great tutorial!
Etching primer is specifically formulated for the bare metal

me getting my Cricut was a game changer! Before, I would have to go to my buddy's shop and use his industrial vinyl cutter

Mine never smells bad to me, i have a ceramic heater and I use 2 of the Halogen worklights - put off pretty good heat.

I have done that tumbler like 10 times now, the stencil really helps streamline it - the first 3 times were all freehanded

Had an allergic reaction to epoxy! Have you tried the crystal lac non epoxy product?

I want to make a plaid tumbler, but I want to use colors apple green and pink. So which one would be my first color?
you may want to start with a pink base. the darkest color would be first of the squares, I would have to see a pick of what you are trying to do to better instruct on execution - that one is doable but would be tricky, you may want to mask up the first color if you don't think you have the control but it can be done
Okay two things..you used tack it without the tack it method..never seen that done..def gonna try...And second thing..I need an air brush 😂

Have you ever heard of crystalac ? It’s an epoxy free method of sealing tumblers & glass and it’s not harmful like epoxy is . I would love to hear your thoughts about it :)

I used Adobe Illustrator
Can you use mod podge instead of tack it? Why did you use etching primer
Probably. The etching primer is because it chemically etches into the bare metal in addition to mechanical sanded for adhesion and durability

Hi i have a question. How would go about doing a tumbler that has rubber at the bottom? can you spray paint and epoxy it or just dont touch it? I need help
Nah the paint won't hold up on the rubber. Have to tape it if you can't remove it
