It’s really sad that we’re missing out on such great characters because marvel editorial thinks making Spider-man a dad makes him seem older and unrelatable.
When literally all of the readers at that point in time, were moving on to that stage of life

I love that Mayday and Spiderling's family established such an immediate, close bond in Spider-Geddon. In End of the Spider-Verse, which just came out, Spinneret and Mayday are asking each other for help finding their families (Spinneret asks Mayday about her Peter and Annie, while Mayday asks Spinneret about her dad, who is now a giant spider named The Other).

Once we inevitably get rid of _Paul_ and Peter and MJ get back together, Marvel should turn things around and give the Parkers a happy life, finally give them a chance for a family in the main-verse.
If it worked well (not perfect but we’ll) in an AU, why can’t it work in mainstream?
At this point, we might as well do a reverse One More Day and reboot the series to be almost like Renew your Vows. Spencer tried to fix things slowly but look what happened.
There's a little more than Paul standing in the way too cutting out One More Day, just like how Carley breaking up with Peter didn't lead to them back together.

I love both of these Spider-girls, my personal favorite is Annie but I love how both of them got to meet each other.

I love how both Mayday and Anime are basically fated to end up with their respective world's Normie Osborn. It's such a nice way to bring both families together.
I haven't read a lot of May's series so all I have to go off of is the bit I know and the stuff I see her in like the Spider-Verse events so I don't know if she is since she has a different boyfriend last time we saw her world but Anna I totally think would end up with him and I hope they I think it be kind of cute and neat to see maybe they even have a kid thus bringing the Parker and Osborns to one and his great Goblin Grandfather is in his grave screaming XD
@@superaustin6383 I would honestly not like the idea of Annie or any Parker child being in a lover relationship with Normie, I kind of rather enjoy the best friend dynamic. More so because it would be a very wholesome way for the families to reconcille. The friendship between Peter and Harry was so poisoned and gutted by Norman's pure evilness that it sipped into even Normie. But this time around, they are able to fight that corruption off and practically having the realationship Peter and Harry would have had if not for Norman's intervention.
As for the Mayday stuff, she did had a thing for him a bit, but Normie just saw her as almost a little sister and later on ended up marrying the ex-villain Raptor. She did dated a bunch of guys, but the last of her boyfriends was a comic artist who she got with at the end of the Spider-Girl

After they're done telling Miles' story, if the writers ever want to continue doing the Spider-Verse, I'd love something with Annie and Mayday Parker as a focal point. Also the spot and prowler helping Spider-Man sounds so surreal right now.

I am very glad you've got around to covering Spider-Girl. I appreciate the additional context with the Clone Saga and the death of Harry Osborn etc, because it's really helpful for newer readers/viewers, even if it's not necessary.
In a perfect world, where editorial wouldn't be so gung-ho on screwing with Spider-Man for the sake of being "relatable", he and MJ would have a little Mayday girl and a baby Annie

It's funny how, in every other universe, Peter Parker has a family, but 616 Peter can never seem to get his shit together.
Peter has far more realities where he is either killed or mutated or having fates worse than death. Whatever BS he is going through in 616, it's a cake walk compared to those.

I loved this! I bought the What If? Issue where Spider-Girl first appeared. The series was terrific. I'm impressed by the depths into lore and the many side stories involving May that you touched on.
Getting rid of Ben in Mayday timeline almost felt like an apology by Marvel, given that the loudest initial criticism came from the letter pages, about the clone saga in general.
Its amazing how many different settings of Spider stuff is still relevant.

I love mayday parker spider-girl the daughter of Peter parker and Mary jane she's really awesome and plus is personally my all time favorite character in marvel comics, and I am very excited to see more of her in the future especially because we got to see her in across the spider-verse even as a baby which made me so happy that I can't wait to see her more in beyond the spider-verse which is going to be really awesome and badass at least in my opinion. :)
i would love to see a spin off series, if only a mini event, where Mayday and Annie team up on their own adventure in the same way Gwen, Silk and Jessica do from time to time
They were in the recent End of the Spider-Verse event but sadly they didn't interact but May and Spinneret did have a page together so thankful May and Anna doing something together is still very possible and I too hope maybe we get something with them at least maybe a new Web-Warriors team with them both on it

@@williamhopkins343 Sadly I'm pretty sure One More Day didn't just remove the memories associated with Peter and MJ being together, but actually rewrote/retcon'ed the timeline to make it so it never happened. Basically, that means in all likelihood 616 Mayday just got straight up erased from existence in total.

No, a Mutant in marvel is separate species from humans and because Spider-Man a Mutated Human rather than a Human Mutant, she is also a Mutated Human despite inheriting her powers
no, a mutant in more specifically terms is someone who is born with the X-Gene. Peter got his powers through a spider bite and thus, she at best would be a mutate. If anything Annie was the one with close bonds to the mutants

What do you think is the best thing about these daughters of Peter Parker and which one of them is the best? Which one of them do you think has the best powers and abilities?
Both of the daughters are different. Mayday has MJ's personality. She's outgoing, sassy, beautiful, confident and a lot of boys like her. Annie is the opposite. She was a bright and fun girl when she was a kid but when she became a teenager, she struggles to find a friend. She's a little bit introverted but she managed to make some friends with Normie Osborn and some kids in her highschool club.
In terms of powers, i think both of them are pretty similar. But Annie's spider-sense can see the future and she's also trained by the X-Men since she was a kid. Other than that, she is a superhero since the age of 8-9 so she has a lot of experience but i dont think she's as smart as Mayday when it comes to combat thinking.

its weird how main 616 Peter sees his potential daughters across spacetime but seems to just not care that much
So for those more into the comics, in the Spiderling universe, in that climactic fight with Venom, WHICH Venom are we talking about here? Because obviously, Eddie Brock is the main Venom, but that Venom design looked more like the Mac Gargan Venom than the Eddie Brock Venom. Venom is one of my favorite antiheroes/Spider-Man villains, so I want to know about which is it. Plus, while Eddie Brock Venom has been a very vengeful being who has not been afraid to threaten Peter's family in the past, threatening to kill a BABY would be over the line for him. Eddie Brock Venom sees himself as a lethal protector of the innocent, and he goes on to say how babies are extremely innocent. If he can help it, he would never go that far to threaten the life of a baby.
Yeah, probably would have been Gargan in that case. Even if Brock had issues with Peter, even he wouldn't cross a line like threatening a baby, even if it's Peter's child,

no way in hell he would have kids with Black Cat. Felicia and Betty Brant arre the examples of its better being friends than dating and Felicia was legit such a toxic partner she isn't number one because Venom legit beat her up for first place and the only one universe where she won the guy, she screwed up, ended up getting dumped and got herself killed in an alley and only made a bunch of Silver Sable fans happy at the end.
As for the other question, it's obvious they would want to name their kids after their basically parents. Peter himself was named after Ben, his middle name is Benjamin. And the middle name of Benjy is Richard which is his father's name. It's a pretty common thing to do and it's obvious why Peter would use May and Ben's name for his children, as well as MJ using Anna's name seeing how she was also basically MJ's mom and the one family that alwasy cared and looked after her in the midst of all the chaos in her sifunctional family during childhood
I am so surprise that on all the crimes that Norman Osborne is known for killing Spider-Man daughter is not on them everyone just focus on Gwen yes that was a tragedy but is surpriseng that killing a newborn is honestly not that bad in the eyes of people.

it is Ben's suit. She found her uncle Ben's costume in her dad's old stuff and when Normie first attacked her father, she put it on and later on made another one. She later on also ended up using her dad's costume at the end of Spider-Verse and later on made her own version which is by far her best suit to date

The original Spider-girl was a great comic run. Old style, meets new style. Most that read the comic run would agree Mayday did a great job of stepping into her father's shoes and taking over the family business.
Now, you might ask why the woke MC heads have not yet replaced Peter with Mayday by now. Simple. The woke hate redheads.
I always thought that Mayday was more of a brown/brunette than red in terms of hair color, but I get what you mean, plus with the 'quality' (ugh) of 'writing' these days from Marvel, I actually don't mind having to deal with her not being brought in if only because I'd rather they not do to her what they've done to 616 Peter in terms of ruining one's life through editorial mandate.
