Hope the Recode will bring some variety to the Isle fauna like it was, and not have every small dino as AI... Nowadays it seems like 70% of dinosaurs are large carnivores. Progression was good for keeping size and variety... Now 6 out of 10 dinosaurs you encounter are T-rexes...

Back then you had the chance to go AFK till you get enough progression points, without getting hungry. Is it fun tho to find a dinosaur standing still and click a few times and it's dead, and you eat it? Nah. Without carnivores hunting and heabivores roaming to find plants, there's nothing you have to do. Maybe a bit longer time to starve might be okay tho.

If I were in that pack I would've been more preserved with my attacks and stam if trying to thirst out a shant. Keeping back juuust enough to show aggression but if it dared tried drinking get close enough to scare stopping it or punishing it for ignoring me. >:) Granted I'm like.... Zero experience with albertos but that tactic is golden with making something starve or dehydrated to death.
nah fam they just don't need to, plenty of food around with the Albertos dead. Two grown Rexes can take a Shant if they're not completely stupid like the Albertos were. The Albertos could have killed him, they just made some Rookie mistakes.
Albertos were wayyyy tooo passive. Didn’t have hardly a clue of what they were doing... Only thing they knew as trying not to get hit. Hardly any real team work either. Rex’s sat there like they knew at any moment they could rock anybody in that fight.
There were 5 of them, yet they were being so overly cautious. And don't get me wrong, caution totally pays off in this game. But they didn't work together well enough at all.
I was a solo Shan’t once when I logged in the day after being in a herd. I heard a pack of Utah’s and to my shame, I didn’t do what Sticky did. I logged out.
I loooove shants I still have my very first shant that I've had since Christmas Eve. ^^ She's fought and won against every kind of apex. Granted meeting the spino was scary because I didn't know how to fight their kind-- but passed with flying colors with only being on first screen. Also fought 2 giga(though they Weren't well skilled) and what was supposed to ve a 1v1 fun fight with a Acro but it's mate came back not knowing and tail rode me into third screen before getting on 4th with her hubby. Unfournatly despite us agreeing to heal up for round 2 a horrriable rule breaking rex pair came(later perma banned from server) and like wiped out 4 shants a maia, dilo, and something small juvi dibble/trike?(I was smart enough to get into a better position to survive this slaughter) In Nytca once body is down fight is over but yeah, they also kept abusing nest to "get hungry" faster every time to try and get rid of bodies worried about mods forgetting.... Recording exists lol). She's also killed a over aggressive trike that threatened a baby of mine. So my old grandma Shant is a battle vet. I love her, and hope she'll survive until the new update comes! That's my goal! The point of mentioning the rule break was because fighting them would be much more difficult to stay alive since I'm not experience with free-play style fighting, and me being already wounded with shants dropping I was amazed sge survived!
@@rizele Yup! She's very special to me. :D I got old screen shots too- Funny enough she's only raised like 3-4 of her own kids and likely helped another 20-30ish orphan shants to adulthood. One of the funniest and good hobbies I have when solo migrating is having stand-offs with solo rexes and gigas. The moment when I intimidate them outta combat is hilarious. I do try to respect any surrenders during fights. Once a different spino surrendered despite me being capable of killing it and she and especially her baby thanked me. Felt good ;u;

Where I met a kind couple who raised me, still good friends with them. They taught me how to fight and good tips-- little did they know the monster they'd raise. Are there any videos how to use the terrain to your advantage during pvp? Ik this is in open plains to make it fair but players often are in cliffs and other terrains and such and could use it for their advantage as many apexes easily break their legs on those :3
