Before you reply to that, remember that most utahs make a LOT of mistakes fighting a rex, so most of the time all rex has to do is spam bites, and eventually utahs simply run into their mouth. I'm sure with a lot of practice against good Utahs, rexes can figure out how they need to fight, but even then, Utah is simply better than rex, if played to its full potential - nothing rex can do will stop a Utah, it comes down to if Utah will make a mistake and run into rex's mouth
I do agree, wasn’t saying you were a bad Utah player or anything either (just in case that needed to be cleared up). I could tell you definitely knew what you were doing. I was just merely commenting on how the rex players didn’t seem to be doing the greatest, lol.

Ping is important, but not as important as understanding exactly where the "broken" hitbox is, and how far it extends. Oftentimes people die to the broken hitbox, but think it's a lag issue. Now, once in a while you WILL die because of lag, but I personally think lag isn't as big of an issue as understanding the hitboxes

Just found this and I'm impressed. My friends and I usually play utahs and we've had our fair share of hunting rexes but never two at once XD We're usually nervous about the hitbox under the rexe's legs and base of the tail. Somehow, someway, one of us usually dies due to this broken hitbox. All in all, nice work and I hope i can work towards this point if I ever need to.
Yep - Do some testing on the rex hitbox, eventually You will be able to pinpoint exactly where it is, so you'll know what areas to avoid. What a good sportman rexs. Most players would have logged out on you the second that light colored rex got its leg broken. They would have enough hp to endure your attack throughout 1 minute.
Thank you!! Assriding is not even safe for Utahs - most apexes have hitbox extending to behind their legs, so while ass-riding, you're always under risk to get hit. That's why so many people complain about "broken hitboxes"
Sticky Utah haha I will say sometimes the hitboxes aren’t the best but apexes have that wide range for that exact reason. It was either that or animate a tail whip attack which costs time and money. Well done my friend!
Lmao if people complain about broken hitboxes, they should complain about ass riding, considering an animal usually has ways to quickly turn around, and I hope once this game continues to develop there will be a counter to ass riding, considering a single Utah shouldn't even be taking on two rexes, there would be no reason to complain about "not being able to kill apexes because they're so op"
It's called starving them out - I've done it multiple times. When they're starving to death, they can't really sit next to water, or cliff, or just sit on spot alt turning. They have to move - means i get free bites in.
communistpotato I agree, luckily the devs have seen how ridiculous a Utah killing 2 adult rexes is and now they are adding collision detection (with the recode of course) so that tail riding is now impossible, time for the big boys to teach the Utah’s and Galli’s a lesson.

This was by far the BEST isle video I’ve seen! Great gameplay! And screw the alt turn haters. Real animals and dinosaurs would “alt turn” in real life anyway so it doesn’t take the realism out.

That tends to happen a lot - admins were called on me for no reason pretty much every single day that I hunted on servers. It got to the point where admins asked me to stop hunting, even tho I wasn't breaking rules lol. But now we have our own server :D

Haven't killed a Pue yet - I don't think Utah bites register.....If they do....Then I probably can kill that slow poke of a Dino lol. (It's only gonna take 10 hours of spamming bites, and a very painful cramp in my index finger)

This is some of the best isle play I've seen bar none. I'm impressed sticky, I have over 400 hours in this game and have yet to see a Raptor take on 2 full grown Rex's solo. I've solo'd a Rex once with my Utah after several fails and that was really hard so imagine 2. Can't seem to solo Giga's with my Utah as there turning radius makes it harder. But bravo to this video pretty amazing. Gained a sub.

@@samuelking4723 Play on a sandbox server or in a DM/DeathMatch server that doesn't have a lot in there and ask if someone would like to practice with you. I had someone come into my server's DM server and show me a lot of cool tricks for utah vs rex and he and I went back and forth for a long time for me to practice my new utah skills against him as a rex.

I feel the need to point out that most players won't average less than 100 ping on a populated server, and that's what'll really get you killed doing a raptor vs one-shot scenario. All those near misses at 40 ms are deaths at 80+. That being said, it was well fought.
The ‘hitbox’ is allowing you to widdle down their health. In a real fight, I suspect there’s no way you could get a mortal wound on a Trex without either dying or being severely maimed yourself (even if you are a raptor).

When the battle first started, the Rexes were probably questioning your sanity in chat. I mean, a lone Utah trying to solo two rexes? Pffff- Little did they know, this was no common Utah *this was sticky Utah*
Rex players dislikes this, lmao. I get it. They think the 2 rexes were bad, didn't even try, and they could go to the water and log out etc etc. Forget about this. It was about showing pure fight. Sticky used the abilities very well of an utah to kill big predators. I can't even kill a dilo, man. I'm so suck to this game. Utahs are medium/ small predators they need to be fast and smart so they can be useful and hunt down anything. If you think number is power, well, not in any case. If you trust the other and thinking about haha we have an overpowered army of utahs. It can be a weak point, more than 1 good soldier of them. So , about this video, It is accurate, bc it was a smart ass ride, and good turns in right time. Rexes aren't made for killing small predators, they made for bigger and slower ones1. Haha yeah, I get a lot of hate from rex mains. But that's because they never faced a good Utah or pack of Utahs, average Utahs just run into their mouth and die. So to those rex mains, it seems inconceivable that a Utah can do something like this, so the only "logical" explanation is that the fight is rigged, rexes are bad, etc. But thanks for your support :)

This fight seems a little suspicious ngl. Plenty of times I’ve seen opportunities for the Rexs to kill you and they either don’t go for it or pull back. I would love to see this fight on a live server where you are fighting randoms.

Is alt turn enabled? It has to be off right? If it were on the rex could simply keep facing you and trade when you get in range to attack. Still well done making no mistakes.
Non-alt turn, correct. WIth alt turn I'd have to starve/dehydrate them first, which would force them to start moving, or take hunger/thirst dmg if they don't move. While moving, they can't use alt turn, and if they constantly stop to face me whenever I get close - takes too long to get to food/water, and again, start taking damage from hunger/thirst
It's been a while since I use the utah as my main dino and I could NEVER do that ! You and this raptor are a myth ! Most dangerous, scary thing I ever watched !

You are very lucky with the hitboxes. I've tried Utah v Rex, and I get hit both when in front of them, to their side and when ass-riding them behind the legs. I'd say that not a lot of people can do this, even if they technically do it right, just because they will get hit in so many weird locations by the broken hitbox.
I have extensively tested, and know exactly where the hitbox is and how far it extends. That's why I use a very specific mechanic of getting bites in, avoiding hitboxes. Also why I don't "buttride" - when you do that, you are inside the hitbox :)
@@notmclarvn I suggest practicing a lot beforehand in deathmatch servers, so that you get comfortable with their turn speed/radius, as well as learn the hitboxes
Can you beat a cera using these tactics? I’d imagine cera’s give you the most trouble since you can’t really get punish their turn speed as the have very high turn speed

I don't know if those players were here and agreed that you show us how you kill 2 rexes or if they were just players hanging around there.... if so, then you are not a really good admin xD I admire your skills but make 2 rexes lose 7h+ of gameplay is kinda harsh in my opinion. And you know, with the recode coming soon (but not so soon lmao), there is going to be collisions ;) so you won't be able to kill poor rexes like this anymore :)

And i personnaly play this game to have fun, to hunt, to make friends, not to just die xD that's not the point of this game. I've died countless of times so I know how it feels (I have 600h+ of gameplay so i know what i'm talking about). It's just the WAY they die that I hate. That's just my opinion :)
The second half of this video after the lighter rex dies shows a big part of whats wrong with the combat in this game, and highlights the importance of the new quick-turn action in the recode. Not to say this wasn't an excellent play, you did outstanding given the game's current mechanics, not to mention against 2 rexes. Assriding is just an issue I look forward to being resolved.

Is it true that a Rex's bite extends further back on it's left side rather than it's right? I heard about that in game but I'm not quite sure if it's true. Apparently it's the same on Shants as well. I want to better understand the janky hitboxes so I can help take down Apexes with my pack as a Dilo!

@@realdaggerman105 You should probably note how close I stay to the rexes. I'm not gonna run away 7 miles and give the rex a chance to go ahead and freely move about. He turns away from me - he gets bit. He turns towards me - i'm gonna be 5-10 feet outside his hitbox, close enough to close the distance if he turns away again.
We have a video out where we fight a Shant, unsuccessfully - but it does show HOW we do it, we just made too many mistakes (since before than nobody really practiced how to fight a Shant)

That tends to happen a lot - admins were called on me for no reason pretty much every single day that I hunted on servers. It got to the point where admins asked me to stop hunting, even tho I wasn't breaking rules lol.
But now we have our own server :D

Haven't killed a Pue yet - I don't think Utah bites register.....If they do....Then I probably can kill that slow poke of a Dino lol. (It's only gonna take 10 hours of spamming bites, and a very painful cramp in my index finger)

This is some of the best isle play I've seen bar none. I'm impressed sticky, I have over 400 hours in this game and have yet to see a Raptor take on 2 full grown Rex's solo. I've solo'd a Rex once with my Utah after several fails and that was really hard so imagine 2. Can't seem to solo Giga's with my Utah as there turning radius makes it harder. But bravo to this video pretty amazing. Gained a sub.

@@samuelking4723 Play on a sandbox server or in a DM/DeathMatch server that doesn't have a lot in there and ask if someone would like to practice with you. I had someone come into my server's DM server and show me a lot of cool tricks for utah vs rex and he and I went back and forth for a long time for me to practice my new utah skills against him as a rex.

I feel the need to point out that most players won't average less than 100 ping on a populated server, and that's what'll really get you killed doing a raptor vs one-shot scenario. All those near misses at 40 ms are deaths at 80+. That being said, it was well fought.

The ‘hitbox’ is allowing you to widdle down their health. In a real fight, I suspect there’s no way you could get a mortal wound on a Trex without either dying or being severely maimed yourself (even if you are a raptor).
Oof the Hitbox didn't do anything when you were fightning those Rexes. Hitbox doesn't like me if you wanna see one of my videos xd

Spino has too good of a turn radius
It's good turn radius, but not THAT good. With a bunch of practice, spino can be killed solo (in a pack it's even relatively easy)

I mean, it's relatively easy for a GOOD Utah that understands hitboxes and knows how to play Utah correctly. But those kind of Utahs are rare - I estimate it at 1-2% of all Utahs. Most Utahs just play Utahs cuz they bark and jump, aka "for fun" xD

Rex players dislikes this, lmao. I get it. They think the 2 rexes were bad, didn't even try, and they could go to the water and log out etc etc. Forget about this. It was about showing pure fight. Sticky used the abilities very well of an utah to kill big predators. I can't even kill a dilo, man. I'm so suck to this game. Utahs are medium/ small predators they need to be fast and smart so they can be useful and hunt down anything. If you think number is power, well, not in any case. If you trust the other and thinking about haha we have an overpowered army of utahs. It can be a weak point, more than 1 good soldier of them. So , about this video, It is accurate, bc it was a smart ass ride, and good turns in right time. Rexes aren't made for killing small predators, they made for bigger and slower ones1. It was a good fight. You know what is shit? Trike and spino hitbox. That is a bullshit.

Haha yeah, I get a lot of hate from rex mains. But that's because they never faced a good Utah or pack of Utahs, average Utahs just run into their mouth and die. So to those rex mains, it seems inconceivable that a Utah can do something like this, so the only "logical" explanation is that the fight is rigged, rexes are bad, etc.

I've killed an adult giga before as dilo in thenyaw map, And it takes 1 and a half game days.

This fight seems a little suspicious ngl. Plenty of times I’ve seen opportunities for the Rexs to kill you and they either don’t go for it or pull back. I would love to see this fight on a live server where you are fighting randoms.

Is alt turn enabled? It has to be off right? If it were on the rex could simply keep facing you and trade when you get in range to attack. Still well done making no mistakes.
Non-alt turn, correct. WIth alt turn I'd have to starve/dehydrate them first, which would force them to start moving, or take hunger/thirst dmg if they don't move. While moving, they can't use alt turn, and if they constantly stop to face me whenever I get close - takes too long to get to food/water, and again, start taking damage from hunger/thirst

@@StickyUtah There isn't more than that. That literally was the ONLY reason you won. Because the turning radius was made artificially unfair.
You are very lucky with the hitboxes. I've tried Utah v Rex, and I get hit both when in front of them, to their side and when ass-riding them behind the legs. I'd say that not a lot of people can do this, even if they technically do it right, just because they will get hit in so many weird locations by the broken hitbox.
I have extensively tested, and know exactly where the hitbox is and how far it extends. That's why I use a very specific mechanic of getting bites in, avoiding hitboxes. Also why I don't "buttride" - when you do that, you are inside the hitbox :)
And this is why you don't spend 6-7 hours getting a rex. This made me feel some type of way as a rex player 😂😂 😂

I suggest practicing a lot beforehand in deathmatch servers, so that you get comfortable with their turn speed/radius, as well as learn the hitboxes
60 fps and 48 ping on the isle, I see you have pretty good pc and internet xdd
Can you beat a cera using these tactics? I’d imagine cera’s give you the most trouble since you can’t really get punish their turn speed as the have very high turn speed
Dibble is harder than cera (in 1v1 situation), but yeah, cera is tough one, only way to get bites in is to jump-bite-the-tail-on-the-way-down

The second half of this video after the lighter rex dies shows a big part of whats wrong with the combat in this game, and highlights the importance of the new quick-turn action in the recode.
Not to say this wasn't an excellent play, you did outstanding given the game's current mechanics, not to mention against 2 rexes. Assriding is just an issue I look forward to being resolved.

Luck? I made it my business to test and find exactly where "hitboxes" are, then found and polished a way to get bites in while avoiding those hitboxes. It's not luck that I spent 700 hours in deathmatch servers testing and practicing things

Is it true that a Rex's bite extends further back on it's left side rather than it's right? I heard about that in game but I'm not quite sure if it's true. Apparently it's the same on Shants as well. I want to better understand the janky hitboxes so I can help take down Apexes with my pack as a Dilo!

You should probably note how close I stay to the rexes. I'm not gonna run away 7 miles and give the rex a chance to go ahead and freely move about. He turns away from me - he gets bit. He turns towards me - i'm gonna be 5-10 feet outside his hitbox, close enough to close the distance if he turns away again.
Could you (or have you) do a video on how to fight well as a shant?
We have a video out where we fight a Shant, unsuccessfully - but it does show HOW we do it, we just made too many mistakes (since before than nobody really practiced how to fight a Shant)
