This focuses on Wrenflight/Wrenstar, who is Annie in this AU. She has a huge sleepwalking… issue.

I want to finish this and make it a polished PMV, but this will take at least a month so be patient LOL

That’s exactly how Steve (the character he’s based on) acts throughout the entire movie I love him
I commented on this video earlier but I can’t stop watching it periodically, just like in the movie, I feel the helplessness of the characters in the face of danger, especially the scene with the deer leg, how his pupils are dilated from horror and it's FEAR, I can almost hear him begging his mother don't do it .... the empty look of the wren ... horror , probably worse than a pigeon in the body of a wren, hysteria, panic, tears, snot. I'm so sorry for these kitties 🥲

This was a au I never knew I needed. Your doing a kick ass thing! Love this movie and you made such a faithful rendition to the vibes and atmosphere. Made my skin crawl~ the dry grass was o-so clever. I would absolutely love to see this finished. If only because I think it would become a underground classic for horror fans like myself. If it doesn’t, I’m glad you galaxy brain went rogue and gave us this food ❤
Thank you so much!!! I’ve since changed the prop to a stick because I realised that realistically it would burn way too quickly for wren to carry, so instead I’m making it a birch stick with eye like markings (referencing Beau is Afraid 👀)
AND YES, I do plan to finish it. I need to invest in a proper animation app bc I don’t think I can pull off such a project with just procreate,,, so stoked to hear you like the animation

Pigeonkit eats deathberries by mistake at the party (it also occurs in a house, kitty pets are veryyy relevant in this au)
When Deerleg is carrying her, he crosses a road and is spooked by a sudden blinding light, and he accidentally drops her. She’d go flying back, and before he has a chance to react she’s been hit.
He’d stand in shock, before closing his eyes and retrieving the body which he places back into the nest, Wren finds her in the morning when waking her for her apprentice ceremony.
