Choppy waves and power boats at Haulover Inlet this weekend! About 25 boats participated in the Florida Powerboat Club's Winter Poker Run. Very impressive and LOUD to witness these guys making an exit through Haulover Inlet on their way to the keys!

Which Powerboat impressed you guys the most?
For me it's the 42x Cigarette hands down!! That thing is kinda insane.
the 42 cig .. the scarab with triple 5's .. outer limits ..MTI .. and Stu's boat "project 1080"... he always narrates these poker run movies he puts together.. his boat rocks ..i'm too old school to get into the C/C trend ..was quite the parade of pony's though ... *disclaimer .. i got Stu's name wrong and it was pointed out so i edited it .. ty all :)

The go fast boats with the outboards may be fast but they just don't excite like the ones with the big inboard V-8s. Nothing beats the sound of that deep, throaty rumble!
I love the 38 and 43 cigarettes I love hearing the old school V8s

@@kolemartin9838 Hey Cole, 500 hrs on the first rebuild. They ran fine but oil press wasn't what it was when they were new.
God some of these guys need to visit Tres Martin. That red and black Cig was so bow-high for those conditions it was ridiculous.
The Scarab 43 was my favorite one.

very nice boats, why dont they use the Seven Marine 627 hp?
They are very Heavy, dry weight is like 1095 lbs compared to A Mercury 450 which weighs only 689 lbs. And gets better fuel economy. But I am sure there was probably a couple of boats running the 627's during this poker run
And Im sure some of these people could afford it but those 627 , seven marine motors a 100K each so theres that.
