Great cover of Al Green's song. A song that came out from his 1972 album. I've got the entire album songs on my Ipod and all I can say is that this is what really incredible, beautiful music sounds like. Got to love the classics and Al Green is a legend whose songs are truly timeless masterpieces.
He got soul that’s for sure His dad was my guy on grown pains He just had the vibe as a Cool dad Doesn’t surprise me his son goin hard Do ur thing kid That ex still luve u I forget her name She fine thought!
@fran2306 Musically the song didn't change, he didn't mess around with the melody, he let the song be. I have studied music and there is nothing technically wrong with this. There are probably less than ten people in the known world who have ever sung as well as Al Green but you can't tell me you compare Beiber to Thicke and expect me to take you seriously. His work is well respected throughout the industry and he also writes for big name vocalists.
@fran2306 thant why i made that comment i already watched him live hs real good but i like my guy better.i see where youre coming from tho hes definitely an awesome singer.
@MooshieV omg im so sick of the JT comparisons. No they do not sound like twins.. They are both white and they both sing often in falsetto, thats about it! Can you really NOT tell the difference? I mean really? Am I just not hearing what everybody else is? They both sound night and day diff to me. Please LOOK/LISTEN beyond the surface people, PLEASE!!
It so funny when people get all fired up abt someone elses opinion.. not everyone is gonna agree on the same shit that is what makes the wld go round. so get off my back... and effen RELAX!!!!!!!
@fran2306 for you to compare Beiber to Thicke is like comparing a Pinto to a Benz. You obviously have no respect for anyone who is not named Green....yes he is one of the best, doesn't mean no else can do it though, purely ignorant
"Let's stay together" is classic R&B, and a perfect test for a singer's skills. I've got nothing against Robin Thicke (I know nothing about him, other than the fact he has some success as a singer, and he was Alan Thicke's son) so I clicked the play button expecting to be wowed.... I'm sorry to say this was one of the weakest renditions of the song I've heard from a "pro" -- and clearly shows the limitations of Thicke's voice. All you have to do is go listen to the covers from Guy Sebastian, Adam Levine (Maroon 5), Michael Bolton, and of course, Al Green, to hear a skilled singer do justice to the song.
This man can sing anything (HE Is THE Greatest )
You are gifted. You sang this beautifully.
Bravo!!! This man has SOUL, I love it!!
JUST LISTEN TO THE SONG! Music isn't a competition...

❤❤❤
Nothing personal to Robin, but nobody, nobody compares to Al Green
close your eyes...and listen.. this is timberlake's twin.. and he is freakin AMAZING!!!
I agree
wow love it!
I think Al Green would have loved this version. Bravissimo.
Robin, have you been eating all of the raspberry icepops again?
Me Encanta!
Robin nice!
Good
Wow
Seriously should never mess with an Al Green tune, but Robin has it down! :) :)
2019
Nobody said it's better. Just that they like this one better... It's called opinion.
Me encanta esta versión así como la de Michael Bolton. Pero la original es la mejor de todas. Sobre todo cuando Al Green la canta en vivo.
❤❤❤👏👏👍
SİBEL COK OZLEDIM YAAAA
@inasez they are similar. that is what i meant... RELAX!!!
So Sweeeeeet... I hope my man sing this song 4 me :)

omggggggggggg
shineshoj lets stay together..
Amazing singer, JTs vocal doesnt even come close.
IMO, JT's vocal cover is amazing, & unassumingly sexy!
Ummm..not really.JT is a little better.. hey anytime someone's not using auto-tune or enhancements that's alright with me though so let's not quibble.
@fran2306 thant why i made that comment i already watched him live hs real good but i like my guy better.i see where youre coming from tho hes definitely an awesome singer.
I say this as a fan of both Robin and JT, btw.
He did a good job...he didn't try to over do it but its not better
@MooshieV omg im so sick of the JT comparisons. No they do not sound like twins.. They are both white and they both sing often in falsetto, thats about it! Can you really NOT tell the difference? whooooaaaa!!!!!!!!
AL GREEN SOUNDS WAY BETTER LIVE!!!!!!!!!! JUST HEARD IT!!!
It so funny when people get all fired up abt someone elses opinion.. not everyone is gonna agree on the same shit that is what makes the wld go round. so get off my back... and effen RELAX!!!!!!!
Can someone help me? I want this song on my Ipod but I can't find it=(
Maroon 5's cover was pretty good too, Adam Levine killed. but THIS is dope as i'd expect.
@fran2306 for you to compare Beiber to Thicke is like comparing a Pinto to a Benz. You obviously have no respect for anyone who is not named Green....yes he is one of the best, doesn't mean no else can do it though, purely ignorant
@fran2306 he still sound better live than al green does
I swear at times it sounds like Justin Timberlake!! :o
i personally like it... not at as good as al green or eric anthony, but its not bad
Justin Timberlake's version is by far the best
@fran2306 ifit makes you feel better i'll say that I'd compare Al Green to a Rolls Royce. one of the greatest to ever do it.
I like this version than Al green's
mean
This was a very nice cover, but check out Adam Levine's.
usher moooore
really? Al is top and Justin TImberlake second on this version Robin thicke is my dude but thats crazy
love this cover but i dont like the sound of drummer's snare..
omg! wow 😨🖓
@inasez for God's sake im not even taking this one step further its stupid!. done.
I think he's wayyyy better than JT in my opinion. And i'm asian. Haha
not as good as Craig David's version in my version. This is a little too slow for what Al Green imagined.
He fuck up Mr. Green song!
@fran2306 I understood what you said the first time! Just disagreeing. There are far worse covers to pick on than this one.
"Let's stay together" is classic R&B, and a perfect test for a singer's skills. Robin Timberlake
Adam Levine lo hace 10 veces mejor !
Robin Thicke will never reach the level of success Justin Timberlake has!!
Because jt is a pop artist and started out with nsync. Thicke came in a different way with less sucess and is solely an rnb artist. Cant compare!!!
Marvin Gaye is an ICON. Nobody can replace Marvin Gaye.
Let's Stay Together is a Al Green's song not Marvin Gaye !
Agreed. This is definitely not better than Al Green's. lol.
the drummer was too loud, in a world of his own, robin and the rest of the band were very cool
He can't sing this song better than Marvin Gaye
Marvin Gaye????? Would you say,Al Green?!....... -.-'
the awkward moment when you try to rip on someone and get it all ballsed up.........
as much i love adam levine, robin thicke did a better cover
but he's not black..jk I love him too
Sounds like JT.
His voice is relatively weak... he gets an A for effort though.
Great song. Bad video.
...the worst version ever....
sing it like a man.....
He can’t sing...all over the place, no power, flat and pitchy 👎
