    These look really good and I'm super tempted to buy them. I'm just a bit put off by having to re-drill holes....not that it looks hard, just as I don't have a drill so that's just an extra expense

      just borrow a friends drill. takes about 5 minutes. its quick and easy. you'll see.

      @@fiditunka As someone that owns these, do you think they would be secure enough if just held in by the UFS frame bolts? Just asking as that's what some of the shops are recommending

      @@jordskates secure enough, maybe.
      solid enough ... i dont think so.
      thats not how sways work. (old OR new soulplates) plus i think they would make a lot of noise if mounted that way.

    My USD Sway skates with the gen 1 version ... one soulplate ripped off the boot after 1 year. I am adult I ride 2 times per week and I am 70 KG and I can do nothing crazy. I really hope I can replace or repair them or else I have to throw out the boots. Thanks for the video. Next time if you could show how the mounting screw works that keeps the soulplate to the boot :)

    Looks like they reshaped the section under the heel, too. Looks great overall.

    Are the new sole kit bolts long enough to fit on the old sway boots. Just got some sway 60s but really like this clean new look of the gen 2

    Good Morning friend! Did your soul plates have to buy a bigger size or did you use the same size as the old one?

      @fiditunka  2 года назад +1

      hi. same size as the boots. so same size as the old ones. fits perfect.

    Are the new soul plate see holes you drilled counter sunk in the inside of the boot? Do you feel the anti-rivets under the liner? Do any of the soul plate holes line up before needing drilling?

    • @fiditunka
      @fiditunka  2 года назад +1

      non of the old holes line up with the new.
      non of the holes (old and new) are counter sunk on the inside.
      i dont feel anything. there is a plastic divider, an insole and the liner between my foot and the hardware.

    Did you have to modify the boot? To get the screws in it???

    I actually like the look of the og ones better. More throne like. The new ones look too similar to everything else.
