Every interaction affects the universe. You can't have a butterfly effect without admitting this . The cosmos must influence us, just like our environment does. It has just been too complicated and has too many variables to take seriously. Now that we have AI though, maybe it could be done. I always thought it was strange that the top god's from pagans represented Sagittarius. The center of the galaxy from our point of view is through Sagittarius. So it's like our ancestors knew where the center of the galaxy was.

Many Christians who haven't actually read the Book they profess to follow, they will tell you that Astrology is the Dark Arts of the "Occult," and we should have nothing to do with it. Meanwhile the entire Book is chalked full of Astrological references. Here are a couple. The Son/Sun, "Gd's Light of the world." "And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a Pitcher of Water(Aquarius); follow him into the house (His natal House) where he entereth in." Luke 22:10. " I heard the -WHEELS- (the Zodiac wheel for each of the fixed signs) 14 Each of the cherubim had four faces: One face was that of a man, the second face of an Ox, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle. Ezekiel 10- 13:14 These are the four fixed Signs. Or they are the Solstices and the Equinox's, which if you connect the two opposing signs, it makes a Cross, quartering the Zodiacal Wheel and marking these most important of celestial events. 1. The Man or Aquarius. 2. The Ox or Taurus 3. The Lion or Leo 4. The Eagle, which was the ancient Zodiacal sign of Aquila, but was changed to the fixed Sign of Scorpio. Also, the Wise Men, or the Magi, followed the Stars which announced the coming of the King. These Magi were probably Zoroastrian Astrologers who could read the Stars like a living Mythology. The entire Book is loaded with Astrological symbolism. When they argue with me, I say "who do you think Created the Stars and the Symbols?" The Creator did, so go bury your head back in the sand, I'm busy digging through probably most Esoteric Book ever compiled. It is truly amazing and if one was to take literal some of these future Prophecies, the texts are absolutely pointing to this Astrological Age of Aquarius as being the time of fulfillment. "We can know the Season, but not the hour." This Season is the Astrological Age, spanning what, 2,147.5 ish years. It is Rome who put the turd in the punchbowl about the Archetypes of the Luminaries above being forbidden smh. The man in the funny hat needs dependents, not those who seek for themselves, so it was all labeled "Occult" and we were threatened with Fire and Brimstone. Ask Giordano Bruno how the Roman Wh0r3 in Scarlet dealt with any dissenters. I've recently been reading into the basics of Astrology, and something that stuck out to me which was really interesting is how Astrology is SO ingrained in even our modern culture, that for the listing of every single famous person on Google, it lists their Age, Date of Birth, and Birthplace-- as if those things have anything to do with the actual achievements of the person or the work that they've contributed. It's amazing how blatantly these traditions just 'carry on' in the background when we have no real reason to know that kind of information just by our wanting to search their name up.

Is the mechanism possibly the effect of the positions of the heavenly bodies upon the morphic resonance that shapes us? The energies they emanate may influence changes in the morphic fields in ways that result in the archetypal patterns we tend to develop.
It depends upon whether there are shared morphic structures within the human psyche / human cultures (or just life in general) and that of the solar system. I'm rather confident that is the case, and therefore that resonance is a contributing factor, but it's another thing to nail down exactly what that looks like in nature. There would need to be very specific similarities of formative patterns.
I mean earth, water, wind, fire fit pretty well with solid, liquid, gasseous and plasma as the modes in which matter can rearrenge itself. In that sense they were bang on

If it's possible you do after an initial upload, you should really consider adding chapter functionality to the video i.e. demarcate where your interpretation of Aries, Libra, Uranus, Pluto & Charon, etc. each begin and end. I'm aware. I don't play video games but I know enough about the lore just from YT to verify that it is a masterclass on implementing archetypal symbolism in a narrative setting. I keep thinking about doing a video about it but I've never played it and don't plan to so I feel like that would be kinda sketchy.
The bright patterns of light that you show at the very end of this video reminded me of something. One time when I was trip ping I saw this giant insectoid creature made of bright orange molten lava and it was pulsating. It looked kind of like the thing at the end of this video except it was an insectoid creature with a face and eyes. I just watched it calmly and I didn't really worry about it but looking back on it now it probably was an evil spirit. I don't do such things anymore and I don't recommend it.
As someone who's always found astrology to be overly vague, you've brought to me a clear idea of a system that makes sense....however, one major thing that always throws me off about mainstream astrology, and which im surprised you didn't mention is Ophiuchus, the 13th zodiac sign everyone conveniently ignores. Since i learned about it and the fact the zodiac sign length of time is based off how long the sun passes through the sign, rather than 12, 1 per month almost equally proportioned out. Any idea why the 13th sign gets ignored?
Ophiuchus is primarily considered in sidereal astrology, not tropical astrology (the subject of the video). The tropical zodiac is calculated in relation to the solstices and equinoxes, while the sidereal relates directly to the background of stars itself. My suspicion is that the sidereal zodiac is actually completely different, archetypally, than the tropical zodiac; this is why there are no rulerships for the trans-saturnian planets within the tropical zodiac (if you try to assign them, the whole system breaks). I think that the domiciles of the trans-saturnian planets (possibly including Ceres, Eris, Orcus or even Chiron) are within the sidereal zodiac, which may very well contain 13 signs, and it may very well be that we currently only know of the 13th sign itself - Ophiuchus. Alternatively, it could be that the sidereal zodiac also has 12 signs, but we refer to Ophiuchus as the "13th" simply because it doesn't fit into the tropical system. If you try to put it into the tropical system, all of the symmetries break (which might be a good indication that the sidereal zodiac will also have 12, unless it has a completely different kind of symmetry) If that is the case, then we will have to much better develop our capacities of imaginative awareness to be able to actually discern what the structure and significations of that "outer" zodiac actually are - the same way we did for all of the "inner" zodiacs before our capacity for such awareness began to disintegrate during the 15th century.
Oh and another thing - Ophiuchus is directly opposite Orion in the sky, which could imply that the Orion/Ophiuchus relationship is the sidereal equivalent of the Leo/Aquarius relationship.

I'm a bit surprised you didn't cover the mathematical relationships among the spheres which clearly demonstrate explicit order, rather than random chaos, in planetary machinations. Much of this information is contained in a book called "Quadrivium: The Four Classical Liberal Arts of Number, Geometry, Music, & Cosmology"
I'm surprised that you didn't lay out a potential connection between astrological positions associated with terrestrial events and morphic resonance. (As a new viewer) I would be interested to see your insights along those lines.
That's certainly possible if the Morphic field of the solar system and that of the human psyche overlap in certain ways within morphological space. I assume this is almost guaranteed to be the case simply because the organization of the human psyche and the organization of the solar system do share an archetypal structure - something I talked about in more detail in Structures of the Archetypal Realm. I didn't really mention it in this video because it was already monstrously long and I would have had to reiterate the whole idea of morphic resonance for new viewers and the ideas presented in Structures of the Archetypal Realm, and so that just seemed like a bit much for one video.

Admittedly, I'm not completely sold on the idea(I've only been sitting on the theory for a few hours lol), but I am cautiously optimistic that the theory of Morphic Resonance has the potential to revolutionize our understanding of reality.
It is a fascinating video essay, much like all the ones I've seen thus far. This leads me to some interesting questions. Is the 13th sign, Ophiucius, canon? Does it factor into astrology? How? Is Pluto still important in astrology? What about other planets, comets and meteors, stars, etc. Do those other lesser known spheres affect people too? If colonies were made on Mars and children were born on the red planet, would that change the dynamics of astrology? Would that change them spiritually? Would they be born predominantly redheads? Would they grow up more aggressive than Earth bound people? I don't ask as a joke. This is a really fun hypothetical to ponder.

There is exactly one surefire way for a skeptic to become a believer in astrology - actually taking the time to do it yourself. Once you start finding patterns that you weren't looking for, and finding continuities of those patterns exactly where they should be, and all the eerily specific symbolic details, at some point the sheer fascination starts to drown out the skepticism to the point that you forget it was ever even there.

@@ElynourRummyng Cosmos and Psyche by Richard Tarnas is probably the most straightforward introduction because he focusses almost exclusively on the outer planets and doesn't say a word about the Zodiac. The Astrology podcast has literally hundreds of hours of content on virtually any subject in astrology you can think of. It also helps to find people online (X, Discord, etc) who are well-versed in astrology so that you can ask questions and pick things up by talking to them. Mundane astrology is much easier to learn than natal astrology because you can work with historical events you already know about, while natal astrology requires very detailed biographical knowledge in order to be done effectively. Electional astrology is for when you have a very thorough understanding already and can begin incorporating that understanding into your own life-patterns.
Iv always found it odd that we can speculate that all 7 stars of the pleiades was visible for ancient man but given that these people knew the sky and stars like the back of their hand, its very odd that none could recognise or identify the planet Uranus which can be seen with the naked eye on a clear night without a unique location like on top of a hill which only enhances its visibility albeit small, it's clear to see and it comes in and out of view like the planet Saturn just smaller. I personally believe it was seen and a lot of astrology believed today is misconcepting the associated archetypes, the story only gets spicier when you have been on-top of the mountains in Nepal with a clear sky and seen the glimmer of Neptune...but I digress. I think astrology has its place but perhaps the associations and meanings are being condensed down and adopted by the closer celestial planets as the sky map meanings got lost to history for a simpler model 🤷🏻♂️ my 2 cents

Amazing video as always. Apologies in advance if youve already touched on this in your astrology videos but have you mentioned anything about the solar eclipse this April 8th 2024? Been going down a rabbit hole on that one and really keen to hear your thoughts on it.
I have not and actually this is the first video I've ever done directly addressing astrology (It did feature heavily in Structures of the Archetypal Realm but that was more theoretical and so didn't really look particular transits or other events). I do know that this Eclipse will be very intense for a number of reasons and that it is taking place in Aries, which would seem to indicate some sort of very consequential watershed event. We will have to wait and see what exactly that looks like, but we can probably guarantee that it will be something which plays a role in these larger archetypal narratives which are currently developing.

Very curious to see what you have to say about Gobekli Tepe and his Atlantis hypothesis especially in connection to his astrological theorizing regarding it. The neoplatonist youtuber Aarvoll has some interesting thoughts on GENETIC evidence for Atlantis building on Hancock's theory if you're interested. Yeah I'm familiar with Hancock and Aarvoll's stuff. It seems to me that Hancock's narrative is less than rigorous but I do think that it's a forgone conclusion that the academic narrative of human history is deeply flawed in numerous ways. I tend to find the Uncharted X stuff to be more compelling than Hancock just because Hancock tends to gloss over details so much, but broadly speaking I think he's on the right track. This is something I've begun to touch upon already - specifically in the "magic is real" video - so it's something I'll be delving more into later on.
Hello Formscapes, Thanks for this video. I of course agree in the human collective consciousness as this is evident in the numerous similar cultural Stories of Creation. Of course the Sun and Moon have influences on the human mind and body, but I oppose the astrological use of ancient Roman naming of planets, which derives from the Roman Pantheon of primordial deities directly connected to the Roman Creation story. In the cultural Stories of Creation, these take off speaking of a void of chaotic and unconstructed elements which comes together and resulting in the first Light, which forms gas to stars and firm matters to planets. The Solar System is mentioned as a secondary creation from these primordial forces, hence they cannot be ascribed directly to the planets and having an astrological importance as the primordial ones. When reading of the ancient mythical attributes of the primordial forces/deities, these attributes can never be ascribed to the astronomical planets at all. Just the fact that gendered names of planets are accepted, is non sensical. This leaves us to the Esoteric tradition of practicing astrology, and here the entire Milky Way Galaxy is correctly included and logically so at the cultural Stories of Creation specifically are describing the pre-conditions of and factual creation of the Milky Way - and NOT of the entire creation as our ancestors had the perception of an eternal Universe with an intrinsic cyclical process of Creation, Dissolution, and Re-Creation. In this sense, a genuine astrological practice should include the very central Milky Way Light and the Sun and the influence on all living and growing things on Earth. Here, the Zodiac Signs are OK to use, but the planetary one is out of logical order, and even out of cosmological time because of the Earth Axis precession motion. I've recently been reading into the basics of Astrology, and something that stuck out to me which was really interesting is how Astrology is SO ingrained in even our modern culture, that for the listing of every single famous person on Google, it lists their Age, Date of Birth, and Birthplace-- as if those things have anything to do with the actual achievements of the person or the work that they've contributed. It's amazing how blatantly these traditions just 'carry on' in the background when we have no real reason to know that kind of information just by our wanting to search their name up.

Is the mechanism possibly the effect of the positions of the heavenly bodies upon the morphic resonance that shapes us? The energies they emanate may influence changes in the morphic fields in ways that result in the archetypal patterns we tend to develop.
It depends upon whether there are shared morphic structures within the human psyche / human cultures (or just life in general) and that of the solar system.
I'm rather confident that is the case, and therefore that resonance is a contributing factor, but it's another thing to nail down exactly what that looks like in nature. There would need to be very specific similarities of formative patterns.
Nothing short of miraculous - I listen in awe.
I mean earth, water, wind, fire fit pretty well with solid, liquid, gasseous and plasma as the modes in which matter can rearrenge itself. In that sense they were bang on

The bright patterns of light that you show at the very end of this video reminded me of something. One time when I was trip ping I saw this giant insectoid creature made of bright orange molten lava and it was pulsating. It looked kind of like the thing at the end of this video except it was an insectoid creature with a face and eyes. I just watched it calmly and I didn't really worry about it but looking back on it now it probably was an evil spirit. I don't do such things anymore and I don't recommend it.

As someone who's always found astrology to be overly vague, you've brought to me a clear idea of a system that makes sense....however, one major thing that always throws me off about mainstream astrology, and which im surprised you didn't mention is Ophiuchus, the 13th zodiac sign everyone conveniently ignores. Since i learned about it and the fact the zodiac sign length of time is based off how long the sun passes through the sign, rather than 12, 1 per month almost equally proportioned out. Any idea why the 13th sign gets ignored?
Ophiuchus is primarily considered in sidereal astrology, not tropical astrology (the subject of the video). The tropical zodiac is calculated in relation to the solstices and equinoxes, while the sidereal relates directly to the background of stars itself.
My suspicion is that the sidereal zodiac is actually completely different, archetypally, than the tropical zodiac; this is why there are no rulerships for the trans-saturnian planets within the tropical zodiac (if you try to assign them, the whole system breaks). I think that the domiciles of the trans-saturnian planets (possibly including Ceres, Eris, Orcus or even Chiron) are within the sidereal zodiac, which may very well contain 13 signs, and it may very well be that we currently only know of the 13th sign itself - Ophiuchus. Alternatively, it could be that the sidereal zodiac also has 12 signs, but we refer to Ophiuchus as the "13th" simply because it doesn't fit into the tropical system. If you try to put it into the tropical system, all of the symmetries break (which might be a good indication that the sidereal zodiac will also have 12, unless it has a completely different kind of symmetry)
If that is the case, then we will have to much better develop our capacities of imaginative awareness to be able to actually discern what the structure and significations of that "outer" zodiac actually are - the same way we did for all of the "inner" zodiacs before our capacity for such awareness began to disintegrate during the 15th century.
Oh and another thing - Ophiuchus is directly opposite Orion in the sky, which could imply that the Orion/Ophiuchus relationship is the sidereal equivalent of the Leo/Aquarius relationship.

I'm surprised that you didn't lay out a potential connection between astrological positions associated with terrestrial events and morphic resonance. (As a new viewer) I would be interested to see your insights along those lines.
That's certainly possible if the Morphic field of the solar system and that of the human psyche overlap in certain ways within morphological space. I assume this is almost guaranteed to be the case simply because the organization of the human psyche and the organization of the solar system do share an archetypal structure - something I talked about in more detail in Structures of the Archetypal Realm. I didn't really mention it in this video because it was already monstrously long and I would have had to reiterate the whole idea of morphic resonance for new viewers and the ideas presented in Structures of the Archetypal Realm, and so that just seemed like a bit much for one video.

It is a fascinating video essay, much like all the ones I've seen thus far. This leads me to some interesting questions. Is the 13th sign, Ophiucius, canon? Does it factor into astrology? How? Is Pluto still important in astrology? What about other planets, comets and meteors, stars, etc. Do those other lesser known spheres affect people too? If colonies were made on Mars and children were born on the red planet, would that change the dynamics of astrology? Would that change them spiritually? Would they be born predominantly redheads? Would they grow up more aggressive than Earth bound people?
I don't ask as a joke. This is a really fun hypothetical to ponder.

There is exactly one surefire way for a skeptic to become a believer in astrology - actually taking the time to do it yourself. Once you start finding patterns that you weren't looking for, and finding continuities of those patterns exactly where they should be, and all the eerily specific symbolic details, at some point the sheer fascination starts to drown out the skepticism to the point that you forget it was ever even there.

@@ElynourRummyng Cosmos and Psyche by Richard Tarnas is probably the most straightforward introduction because he focusses almost exclusively on the outer planets and doesn't say a word about the Zodiac. The Astrology podcast has literally hundreds of hours of content on virtually any subject in astrology you can think of. It also helps to find people online (X, Discord, etc) who are well-versed in astrology so that you can ask questions and pick things up by talking to them. Mundane astrology is much easier to learn than natal astrology because you can work with historical events you already know about, while natal astrology requires very detailed biographical knowledge in order to be done effectively. Electional astrology is for when you have a very thorough understanding already and can begin incorporating that understanding into your own life-patterns.

Iv always found it odd that we can speculate that all 7 stars of the pleiades was visible for ancient man but given that these people knew the sky and stars like the back of their hand, its very odd that none could recognise or identify the planet Uranus which can be seen with the naked eye on a clear night without a unique location like on top of a hill which only enhances its visibility albeit small, it's clear to see and it comes in and out of view like the planet Saturn just smaller. I personally believe it was seen and a lot of astrology believed today is misconcepting the associated archetypes, the story only gets spicier when you have been on-top of the mountains in Nepal with a clear sky and seen the glimmer of Neptune...but I digress. I think astrology has its place but perhaps the associations and meanings are being condensed down and adopted by the closer celestial planets as the sky map meanings got lost to history for a simpler model 🤷🏻♂️ my 2 cents

Amazing video as always. Apologies in advance if youve already touched on this in your astrology videos but have you mentioned anything about the solar eclipse this April 8th 2024? Been going down a rabbit hole on that one and really keen to hear your thoughts on it.
I have not and actually this is the first video I've ever done directly addressing astrology (It did feature heavily in Structures of the Archetypal Realm but that was more theoretical and so didn't really look particular transits or other events).
I do know that this Eclipse will be very intense for a number of reasons and that it is taking place in Aries, which would seem to indicate some sort of very consequential watershed event. We will have to wait and see what exactly that looks like, but we can probably guarantee that it will be something which plays a role in these larger archetypal narratives which are currently developing.

Very curious to see what you have to say about Gobekli Tepe and his Atlantis hypothesis especially in connection to his astrological theorizing regarding it. The neoplatonist youtuber Aarvoll has some interesting thoughts on GENETIC evidence for Atlantis building on Hancock's theory if you're interested. Anyway keep up the great work thanks so much for this excellent content.
Hancock is almost a little 'too' popular but it's actually quite a good book even if some parts are a bit exaggerated or reaching.
Yeah I'm familiar with Hancock and Aarvoll's stuff. It seems to me that Hancock's narrative is less than rigorous but I do think that it's a forgone conclusion that the academic narrative of human history is deeply flawed in numerous ways. I tend to find the Uncharted X stuff to be more compelling than Hancock just because Hancock tends to gloss over details so much, but broadly speaking I think he's on the right track.
This is something I've begun to touch upon already - specifically in the "magic is real" video - so it's something I'll be delving more into later on.

I of course agree in the human collective consciousness as this is evident in the numerous similar cultural Stories of Creation.
Of course the Sun and Moon have influences on the human mind and body, but I oppose the astrological use of ancient Roman naming of planets, which derives from the Roman Pantheon of primordial deities directly connected to the Roman Creation story.
In the cultural Stories of Creation, these take off speaking of a void of chaotic and unconstructed elements which comes together and resulting in the first Light, which forms gas to stars and firm matters to planets.
The Solar System is mentioned as a secondary creation from these primordial forces, hence they cannot be ascribed directly to the planets and having an astrological importance as the primordial ones.
When reading of the ancient mythical attributes of the primordial forces/deities, these attributes can never be ascribed to the astronomical planets at all. Just the fact that gendered names of planets are accepted, is non sensical.
This leaves us to the Esoteric tradition of practicing astrology, and here the entire Milky Way Galaxy is correctly included and logically so at the cultural Stories of Creation specifically are describing the pre-conditions of and factual creation of the Milky Way - and NOT of the entire creation as our ancestors had the perception of an eternal Universe with an intrinsic cyclical process of Creation, Dissolution, and Re-Creation.
In this sense, a genuine astrological practice should include the very central Milky Way Light and the Sun and the influence on all living and growing things on Earth.
Here, the Zodiac Signs are OK to use, but the planetary one is out of logical order, and even out of cosmological time because of the Earth Axis precession motion.
